Rielly doesn't want to go to a rebuilding team, and Vancouver doesn't want Rielly more than likely.

I don’t see them being able to satisfy Auston Matthews’ open ended pressure on the organization and it’s probably time to just make a smart hockey trade and turn the page. What are they going to be able to do in the next two years, build a juggernaut that surpasses Florida on paper in the east and can carry a declining Matthews to more success than ever before? The guy shows no personal accountability to be a driving change for the positive in Toronto.

It's hard to believe there was a season where Curtis Joseph backed up Vesa Toskala in the Leafs net.

Even stranger, the Leaf goalie with the best save percentage and goals against average that season was Martin Gerber.

Where did I suggest making him the starter?

I’m opposed to locking a 38 into a contract with term or moving Hildeby out to make room for him.

Good question. I would need to look into that value proposition. What would they really be after, Cowan, Knies, you'd have to work them pretty hard to get the deal based on Mo. I don't think Van is on his list either.

The last Leaf goalie duo to win a cup were 42 and 37 respectively. Both are in the Hall of Fame. Bobs is headed there as well.

So what though? If that happens, and we pick up valuable players, we can just move them out for futures.

I know Chayka isn't Tree but paying a high price for Laughton and Carlo to not be able to get those same prices we paid in that scenario would be frustrating.
