He's getting old.Dahlin was more than fine defensively. Hedman however seemed unfocused.
You're still talking about the shots? Look at the rosters. Do you think Finland Liiga team would have had better result than a coin-flip OT game against NHL superstars with offensive game plan? Can't coach this game any better as an absolute underdog than how Jalonen did todayCongratulations to Sweden. I couldn't watch the game so I can't say if the penalty against Helenius was justified or not. But you can't in any case blame the referees for the loss. You don't have to wonder about losing games if you play almost the whole game so defensively and begin only the last minutes playing more offensively.
Against whom will Sweden play now the semifinal?
So you don't think it was a soft call? Even the Swedish experts in the studio thinks that. The trolls complain.
Imagine having Granlund in that OT. I would have wanted to see more of Pulju too. He was hungry and like he has some energy left.I’m surprised how good Larmi was.
And Eriksson-Ek is my #2 in the Selke voting and he did exactly what he’s expected to do.
Imagine some offensive power with Aho, Rantanen, Teravainen…
A gimmick tournament that doesn’t mean anything.Thank god for the 4 nations cup followed by best on best Olympics. It's great to be alive!
Can't do anything about it. If Finland played better it would still have been a W. Getting caught up in something line that is just annoying. Like implying Swedish experts know things. We

I love to mine all this salty tears from the finns in here who says they dont care
99% of the populos care but some hockey fanatics like me think its 2nd tier tournament Im much more keen on Hlinka, U18 Champs and World Juniors and there were even U17 challenge and Youth Olympics that interest. 4 Nations next season is big milestoneI love to mine all this salty tears from the finns in here who says they dont care

Lets just agree that this Nato thing will never work. As soon as Sweden or Finland gets nukes on their soil they wont fly to Russia. They'll end up as a mushroom cloud in Helsinki or Stockholm.
Almost. Start by going turtle, see what happen and then adjust depending on who scores. I still think no one does it as good as Jalonen, but when even the best players in Europe can't or won't join it becomes really hard. Can't blaim them really when they have already won everything. This seemed like a Jalonen blueprint hoping to keep it close and if they score hope that they go all out turtle (which they did)
It means life and death. It is the most important tournament since 1998. And is the ultimate middle finger to the Stalin wannabe in Moscow who loves hockey, the world moves on without you.A gimmick tournament that doesn’t mean anything.
Oh well. Congrats Sweden now time to watch Barkov lift the cup and conn smythe.
A good barometer for Olympics player selections. Teams should leave locks for Olympics at home so the on-the-fence ones can battle it out.A gimmick tournament that doesn’t mean anything.
Sweden may have got little bit help today from refs but then again we have been on that side in the final and won one gold. That is IIHF reffing, sometimes you're on the better side, sometimes you are on the wrong side.
Thanks for all the polite Swedish posters here, I don't really care abou the "salty tears" comments. I know even Swedes know that was one heck of an effort from the Finnish team and Sweden may have been better, but I would se u got to admire the way we played with our Liiga roster.
Its actually crazy how much better Finland is in icehockey than Sweden. Their players from euro leagues is better than Swedens best NHLers. 2019 and the game today shows it.
Soft call. Just stop it.Sweden may have got little bit help today from refs but then again we have been on that side in the final and won one gold. That is IIHF reffing, sometimes you're on the better side, sometimes you are on the wrong side.
