what response would have satisfied you?"were working on improving the culture of hockey".
My man you are the definition of hockey culture. "look I said sorry, cool?"

The Oilers weren't the only team offering Bowman a position.
Him realizing how dreadful this all is and stepping down.what response would have satisfied you?
That's not remotely what I am saying, glad you are getting your exercise in jumping to conclusions though. I'm saying the hire shouldn't have happened at all.So throwing it all out there and not hiding it is a poor strategy? Maybe we should just forget the Kyle Beach incident and pretend it never happened? This was their way to get it out there so people know what's been said.
It's f***ed the Organization didn't stop this person. What? An organization doesn’t write a recommendation letter. I write them all the time. It’s you personally vouching for a person.
(It’s f***ed that Quenneville did write one)
Further confirming that the NHL is an unserious league. There we go. Bowman had offers on the table.
Yeah I read Kennedy's two page letter. This is the group he was working with. Go read what they do.
Its far more then him just saying "sorry bro".
The founder of the company Sheldon Kennedy is a sexual assault survivor from his coach. This is the guy that Bowman was working with daily.
same with Chiarelli and HollandThe Oilers weren't the only team offering Bowman a position.
Can we not just f***ing leave Kyle Beach alone? He isn't some flag to be waving around and parading.Honeslty if this team was serious, they can find a job for literally any friend of friend in the Oilers org.
Is there not some role for Kyle beach in the organization.
It's just comical talking about improving hockey culture. Oilers are the poster child for awful hockey culture. Just look at who they gave a PTO last year.what response would have satisfied you?
To be fair it's not the only league that looks the other way for their millionaire club members.Further confirming that the NHL is an unserious league.
so no one deserves a 2nd chance in your opinion?Him realizing how dreadful this all is and stepping down.
How is that in any way relevant to Oilers feeling like they needed to hire him? There we go. Bowman had offers on the table.
Yes they wereThe Oilers weren't the only team offering Bowman a position.
I think he did but might be protecting them by saying he did not. Because if he said yes, McDavid would be getting calls nowJackson didn’t consult with the players before this hire
I'm just providing updates here. I agree, I'm still disgusted by this hire.Fine, let them hire him and suffer the consequences. Really not surprised whatsoever.
Can we not just f***ing leave Kyle Beach alone? He isn't some flag to be waving around and parading.
He is a victim and he should be allowed to live his life without being harrassed. Leave him alone.
Hmm hes got a wife and kids. Coffey was making 500k a year as a red wine consultant. Can we not just f***ing leave Kyle Beach alone? He isn't some flag to be waving around and parading.

Have you uh....seen what happens in the NFL?Further confirming that the NHL is an unserious league.
Of course, but the NHL is littered with problems at all levels. Lord knows how many Kyle Beachs there are out there. To be fair it's not the only league that looks the other way for their millionaire club members.
He literally just said he had conversations with other teams at the presser.Yes they were
100% this. No way in hell he doesn't talk to Connor and Leon. Same with the Knoblauch hiring/Woodcroft firing.I think he did but might be protecting them by saying he did not. Because if he said yes, McDavid would be getting calls now
Conversations? Sounds like he was working with the organization almost every day. And he had multiple conversations with Kyle which is good to hear. If Kyle can be okay with him getting back into the NHL I don’t see why we can’t.2 year suspension and conversations with Sheldon Kennedy leads to being hired to the best GM job in hockey.
I am sorry, but that is basically ZERO consequences. Atonement my ass.
