Confirmed with Link: Wings sign Tarasenko to a 2 year deal

I am with most people I did not expect him to be great or even good just expect him to hold down the fort, not stink it up.

buy out would just be stupid. some team will take him at the trade deadline. You don't buyout a 2 year contract during a rebuild that is just retarted, they didn't even need to buy out Abdelkater

6 shooting% compared to an average 12.7%.

ES oiSH% is at 8.6 compared to an average 10.5.

Even if he stops being snake bitten his production will still be meh, but not as terrible as he's showing now. Maybe stop playing him with Berggren aswell?

2 assists against Kraken, but invisible during the whole game. A player who has not showed any improvement after McLellan. Plays PP with little impact. Even Motte plays better than him. NTC, unfortunately

Did just put a perfect assist on Compher tip-in. And also was involved in Gustafsson PP goal.

Tough to make any roster moves, because he does not work as LW at all, and Raymond and Kane are the top RWs. You can swap him only between 3rd-4th line RW.

Maybe they could try...

Motte - Compher - Berggren
Ras - Veleno - Tarasenko

...and see what happens.

Yeah it's tough, but I'd like to see Veleno-Compher-Tarasenko. To me it looks like the current 3rd line with Berggren fails to gain possession on the forecheck, no one really takes that puck hound role right now. Looks like Berggren tries, but fails.

I'd go as far as benching Berggren honestly, and bring up Söderblom on the 4th line.

He isn't snake bitten though. Players that are snake bitten are guys who create lots of chances and hit the post or just miss the net. He is barely creating any offence and hardly any good shots at the net. Good game against Seattle maybe, but those have mostly been non-existent so far.

Kasper and Berggren are maybe snakebitten a bit, as they at least do something once in awhile. That so far doesn't apply to Tank.

I can't see him being traded. Between his NTC, nearly 5M cap hit and his performance we are stuck with him.

A buyout this summer carries a $1,583,333 for 2 years. If he doesn't get going I think you have to be open to it.
