Motte is this team's best penalty killing forward.

Valid to have concerns about his even strength game but he has a track record as an above average penalty killer and has been on the best penalty killing forward on this team.

Larkin, Raymond, and Rasmussen all have lower GA/60s on the PK than Motte.

I'd be OK if he only played PK in close games. I really cringe when he plays ES, the team just gets hemmed in the defensive zone for most of the shift. I'll look up his ES stat sometime when I have a chance, I know it's horrible. I've got jetlag, need some sleep.
