People somehwat close to the Gopher program (but not directly affiliated) said avoid this kid at all costs. No surprise Michigan would be fine taking him in. I actually think all their big four will come back, and maybe adding Whitelaw in will mess up the chemistry and make it a long year for them. : )

Random character assassinations should come with some more details than “some guy on a message board said…” hockey is small enough that a lot of people have petty grudges for one reason or another.
 
Nice pick up for the Maize & Blue! Did he just not mesh with coaching staff @ Wisconsin? Seems like a lot of their team is in the portal.
 
Update: like everyone not named Hage, he's not putting up big numbers. Michigan is about where I expected they'd be as a team, but Whitelaw not doing what I thought he'd do.
