When tavares fell I thought oh shit a 2 on 1; and Mo blocked it and moved the puck up ice real fast; and then Willy did what he does best.

I wish he trusted himself to make the right call more. On his goal tonight he didn’t hesitate, just shot it. He holds the puck too long in so many scenarios that it has become my biggest criticism of him.

We just need Klingberg to fire offensively or for Lily to get back and do it offensively and we'd be set. Worst comes to worst we can deal Klingberg or put him on LTIR and get an offensive D-man.

I really think we can use more offense from defense; it would ease the pressure on Mo and I think Mo would automatically jsut produce even more especially 5 on 5

Keefe still sucks though with JT back on the ice in OT(he gave up on that for a short time, no?). Almost cost us a goal if Mo didn't make a great block.

Oh and then Willy's ability to make such accurate passes. You can pretty much have 4th liners and Willy can get them a bunch of goals.

In an ideal situation we have our high AAV forwards making low AAV forwards productive and creating match-up issues for opposition. hopefully one day....

JT and Nylander should just switch contracts. For what each does JT is ok for around 6.5-7 mil and Willy is right now at over 10 for sure.

yea it was definitely weird to wake up to the leafs playing, I would not mind 2 or so games like that in year, it was a nice experience to watch the leafs with a morning coffee.
