Not surprising. Michigan has looked vunerable against structured teams. Notre Dame gave them fits all year. Quinnipiac had them on the ropes. Denver has better skaters and more firepower and Red Wings prospects (although I have officially disowned Tuomisto tonight) than the other two...so there you have it.

I'm sure Mel will have no trouble restocking the cupboards after all the departures.

This team is going to have one of the worst batting averages this league has seen in a long time. This team is also going to hit BOMBS all season.

Don't really care about baseball, but have we made this a thing yet?

Ok I'm not gonna lie them cinnamon almonds are fire.

But wtf, Jake... A bologna sandwich?

Cinnamon almonds hot and freshly packaged are dynamite. The peanuts from Eastern Market are some of the best.

Best part of Vrana's response was thinking she did not know what bologna is so switching to ham & cheese which still makes no sense. Love it.

Another UofM team face plants when it matters most? Color me shocked.
You hate to see it. ;)

As an outsider, they've seemed more like a collection of 1st round draft picks, than a complete team. See also Minnesota. Sure, they could've won and all, and are still a very good team, but not good enough.

In contrast, IIRC, Mankato has like 2-3 drafted players, and not even very high at that. I had no idea that Mazur was from Jackson though, although no way I could ever root for Denver.

As for the Tigers, my dad had to drunk call me about the opener, he's spent 20+ years working home openers for one of the beer distributors, he said it was actually fun to see a game on TV.

I think it's a bit wild, that about 13 months ago, I saw Torkelson playing for the Whitecaps, and he's now in Detroit.

Please keep winning, Tigers! Cease always gives them fits, but after they overcame a 0-3 yesterday, my optimism has even increased. The bullpen is running thin already, but Chicago has the same problem.

Gruß,
BSHH
