Just 1 goal in his last 10 games. Still hoping for Matthews to keep the 34 goal streak alive as only Gretzky and Bossy have been able to start their careers by putting up at least 34 goals for 9 straight seasons. Would be special for Matthews to be able to join them.

His health has gotta be a real concern going forward, no? Is he worth that money if his scoring permanently drops off?
