Another great game from Woll last night. Now has a 2.03 GAA and a .938 sv% in 3 games.
Give him 3 years 1.3M and get a solid backup at min for cheap and termAnother great game from Woll last night. Now has a 2.03 GAA and a .938 sv% in 3 games.

Didn't know that , that's a good way to upgrade the lineup next year and save in goaltending cap hit while getting good quality
Think hellwant to play to get another contract and show ye can be a solid starterThey should work with Murray to go on LTIR permanently next year. Give him his full money and give us flexibility.
Not sure Murray really seems like the cooperative type, but that would be good. Otherwise they'll have to dump him somewhere elseThey should work with Murray to go on LTIR permanently next year. Give him his full money and give us flexibility.

Not a chance .. if Murray is healthy he starts game 1 against TampaI Thought Murray was traded there for a second.
On that topic does Kyle use his 1st to get rid of the Murray contract?
Why would it cost more to get rid of him than it cost to acquire him?I Thought Murray was traded there for a second.

Underlying stats say Sammy is the playoff starter.obviously the amount of time Murray has missed is regretable, but i still think he's our best shot as the playoff starter.
I'm Really hoping he comes back soon (sounds like he's near), and he get a solid run of games leading up to the playoffs. Obviously Samsonov is a pretty good plan B and lord knows if we're relying on plan C in Woll we are going to be in a lot of trouble.
Swayman is the best backup in the league and Boston would be just fine rolling w him if Ullmark got hurt . Bruins went with Swayman over Ullmark in the playoffs last year additionally so I think they view them a lot closer than maybe the vezina voting society does .I wonder if Tampa or Boston are going to spend assets on goalie depth just incase Vas or Ullmark are injured

What in his three games with a .938sv% makes you feel he's not ready?I like Woll, but he's not ready to be the back-up in the playoffs, I don't care how much I don't trust Matt Murray.
That would be setting up your team for failure if you rely on someone who doesn't even have 20 NHL games under his belt.
Goaltending WILL be an issue for the Leafs in the playoffs, it just will.
Let's face it guys, if we're at any point in the playoffs where Woll needs to go in for Sammy/Murray we're in deep trouble. What in his three games with a .938sv% makes you feel he's not ready?
His good positioning? High level of athleticism? Good save selections? Great mobility?
I keep hearing how solid Woll is - you know in 3 games this year, 7 totalLet's face it guys, if we're at any point in the playoffs where Woll needs to go in for Sammy/Murray we're in deep trouble.
Either there's an injury or we're close to being eliminated embarrassingly.
