one of the things he’s good at while slumping a bit was his deceptive cheap shots, there’s a reason he gets away with a lot of stuff. And that’s what kept him in the line up and a long with much better play around the puck

Zegras should get an extra 2 games tacked on for looking at the replay and then insistently yelling "No way. No way." It's one thing to throw a dumb, dangerous hit. Rasmussen has a bit of Lindros syndrome. He's so big he was a man among boys in the lower leagues, and he's been on the receiving end of some hard hits he should have been aware of.

That being said, his puck watching doesn't excuse the east-west headshot that Zegras threw. Those are the exact kind of hits the league has been trying to get out of the game. Little to no body contact but a lot of head contact.

Rasmussen left the game after the hit and did not return. I haven't heard any update but I'm going to guess he's out for an undetermined length with an "upper body injury."
