Is that a joke? It's literally a 2 second clip of him on the ice with training staff. You think he needs to spring back up like it's in-game?
It's a 2 second clip. What are you getting from it?

Here's what you can see:

Murray not making a save. Murray slow to get to his skates.

How else do I interpret that?

You're right. Anything less than his absolute best for every second of drills with Antropov is a cause for concern. It's not like this could be the last shot of the session, or that he could have started stretching after this clip stops, or that he knows it's just a drill while recovering from injury, or any other bajillion things.

It's a a clear yikes if he doesn't stop every shot and spring back up!

HAHAHAHA!!!! People will complain about ANYTHING!

This team has put themselves in a position where game 6 is everything. The entire Shanahan era, the Dubas era(contract is up), the coach, the players (3 of the big 4 will need contracts soon), O'Reilly needs to be signed, and so on. The outcome of this game will define this team win or lose and effect it for years to come.

So where are we at with 2 time championship Murray? The goalie with the better road record when this most important road game is on the line? Samsonov has been great but he has also shown shades of Freddy/Campbell, especially on that 2nd goal in game 5. Is Murray able to play? Do you start him over Sammy? He knows how to close.

This trade was the cherry on top of Dubas' tenure here. For all the worship he got about the ROR/Schenn/Aciari acquisitions, I don't think it made up for this abomination of a trade.

Not the worst thing in the world to be compensated with draft picks in return for taking on Murray's contract. The zero games played on the biggest stage indicate that I wouldn't want to risk losing either of Samsonov or Woll in order to retain Murray for the duration of that deal though. Have to see the manner in which the situation ultimately materializes.

Leafs were really handcuffed with his $4.7 million and Muzzin's $5.6 million last season when both those guys were just ready to fall apart but not quite on LTIR yet.
