Anyone have any underrated/overrated prospects for the 2022 NHL draft?
I was gonna say Miroshnichenko is underrated but just saw he's projected 2-5 in most rankings.

I was gonna say Miroshnichenko overrated. Mind you I've never seen him play, but judging from his stats they are not eye popping to me. And for a guy drawing comparisons to OV8 and being viewed beside Wright and a franchise player I feel like they should be. 15 points in 20 MHL games last year. Just 7 points in 19 VHL games. Lambert for reference had 15 points in 47 games in Liiga last season, a significantly better league than the MHL. But I will probably be completely wrong on all this.I was gonna say Miroshnichenko is underrated but just saw he's projected 2-5 in most rankings.

He's currently the OHL rookie scoring leader, and is playing great doing it. If he keeps this up I wouldn't be surprised to see him be a top 50 calibre playerDidn't he do well at the Invitational? That is why I had him as a late round option even though he had yet to play an OHL game and was a 4th round OHL pick. Obviously, if he does well, he would make my top 125.
And quite frankly, short of being a top 25 pick from that 2004 draft, I can see why there is little hype when he hasn't even had a chance to play above AAA before this year.

The problem with Lambert is he only has 2 points in 11 Liiga games so far this year, and he has never really "stood out" in international competitions at all. He is usually solid, but the talk always goes towards Bedard, Michkov, Wright, and even Miroshnichenko, Yurov, etc. who are having much better performances at those tournaments.
All and all, probably not bad enough for a Raty-like fall, but I don't see how you can justify putting him in the top 5 or even top 10 anymore either. That is simply not good enough, especially when there are a number of other guys who can stake a claim to be in the top 10 this year.
They play their first real game this week. Their games against brown and bentley were exhibition. Would be interesting where abruzzese slots in as harvard added coronato, farrell and others and it’d be interesting to see if fusco even gets minutes.Anyone know if Harvard has started their season yet? Can’t find anything on abruzzese.
bedard and michkov are also 2023 draft
Unimpressive secondary assist by tverberg. Another secondary assist for our 25th best prospect /s.

Jordan Dumais is a pretty under the radar prospect for this years draft. 13 points in 8 games to start the season. His size probably stops him from being a top tier draft pick but he has an extremely high skill level and competes hard.
I heard rumours he might be coming to the WHLI know, which is what makes it even more concerning for Lambert. Bedard and Michkov are obviously special talents, but Lambert should still be among those guys and he is more in the middle.

Tied 6th in U20 NCAA scoring, second among Canadians (with 5th overall pick Kent Johnson)
