What's the ETA on this list for the NHL:
- Robertson
- Amirov
- Niemela
- Knies
- Abbruzesse
- Abramov
- Kokkonen
- Holmberg
- SDA
- Anderson
- Kral
- Hirvonen
I think Hirvonen is too far down on this list, and abramov is too high. I almost could switch those 2 players spots TBHWhat's the ETA on this list for the NHL:

I think most of this list is pretty accurate. I could see Hirvonen playing 1 yr on the Marlies nextyear and possibly making a case the following year. Abruzzese might need 2 yrs on the Marlies with his delayed development. My earliest ETA's:
- Robertson - ETA: Middle of 2022-2023
- Amirov - ETA: Middle of 2022-2023
- Niemela - ETA: Middle of 2023-2024
- Knies - ETA: Start of 2024-2025
- Abbruzesse - ETA: Middle of 2022-2023
- Abramov - ETA: Start of 2023-2024
- Kokkonen - ETA: Start of 2023-2024
- Holmberg - ETA: Start of 2023-2024
- SDA - ETA: Start of 2023-2024
- Anderson - ETA: Middle of 2021-2022
- Kral - ETA: Middle of 2022-2023
- Hirvonen - ETA: Start of 2024-2025
Am I the only one who values Hirvonen so high? To me his likelihood of making the NHL is much higher than say SDA, Abramov, and Abbruzesse.
He's playing a man's game in a man's league. Ya he's undersized, but he looks like a complete prick to play against. To me he is a lower ceiling, higher floor prospect.
Kind of see him as a Victor Arvidson on the high end and an Andreas Johnsson on the lower end. But I do think he is made for the new NHL. Speedy, Tenacious, and skilled.
curious as to why people have him so low on their rankings
Yes. Got hurt before the season started, then got hurt again.Guys what’s the deal with Amirov? He hurt? 1 assist in 3 games fml

To me, I don't think stats are everything. Yes they are a major indicator, but we also have no clue what opportunities he is getting with HIFK this year. Or at least I don't. I look at transferability of skillset. Something that I think Roni has plenty of. He battles in the hardest areas of the ice. In the corners and in and around the blue paint. Not all players are willing to do that. Sure that doesn't mean he is a lock for the NHL, but it vastly improves his range of outcomes. Wherein he could be used as a top 6 forward if he hit his ceiling, but also adaptable to a 4th line grinder.Definitely tenacious and skilled but I wouldn’t say he’s a great skater, that could hold him back. His stats in the Finnish league haven’t been anything special either.
what do you mean by on good authorityOn good authority:
- Robertson- spring
- Amirov- 2 seasons - 2023 spring call up from AHL
- Niemela - end of Muzzin contract
- Knies - 2 years
- Abbruzesse - never ECHL
- Abramov - never AHL
- Kokkonen - never AHL
- Holmberg - 2 years
- SDA - traded
- Anderson - traded
- Kral - next year
- Hirvonen - never AHL
Lol at never for Kokkonen. He's one of the most defensively responsible defensive prospects ever who generates tons of possession. On good authority:

I listen to my body. In this case my arse. Bookmark this. We’ll revisit in 3 years. Thanks guys.what do you mean by on good authority
My first reaction was anger seeing this. Then I realized that this is probably the most accurate list out of all. All fanbases waaaaaaaaaaaay overrate their prospect pool.On good authority:

He hasn't played in 2 years and is already 22. If he has a bad year, that could be a possibility but yeah I missed that when I first saw the post.I am more surprised that Abruzzese never even makes the AHL...
If I'm not mistaken, he is playing 3rd line now on a much better team than he was last year. Less opportunity.Definitely tenacious and skilled but I wouldn’t say he’s a great skater, that could hold him back. His stats in the Finnish league haven’t been anything special either.
