Seems like a strong move to make prior to doing an investigation - depending on what the allegations are.

However, it seems there is some bad blood between the team owner and the city council, so perhaps the city is just jumping on the chance to run another team out of the city, which they seem to do far too often.

Growlers owner also said he is building a new arena similar to the ones built for his new teams (trois Riviers and iowa) so this move to Coca Cola coliseum is temporary.

I have heard they may also play some home games in arenas where they have held growlers training camp In mount pearl or paradise.

My heart aches for the tax paying citizens of st Johns. The city has failed them. Hoping the new arena does get built and some stability happens.

Nice that Abramov is on the 2nd line. I believe he was promoted there in the 3rd period last game.

Top line has been money for the Marlies. Need more from lines 2/3. I am pretty much writing off line 4...

So we have Amirov and Robertson hurt, Liljegren scratched, and the Marlies lose another 5-0. This year has sucked so far with following prospects other than Niemela.

The injuries suck and there have been some slow starts, but dont forget about Ryan Tverberg looking great. Him and Niemela easily having the two best starts (besides Malgin) of any Leafs prospects not named Sandin.

Excited to see Abruzzese soon. Knies & Koster with good starts for Minnesota. Holmberg & Kokkonen doing pretty great. Voit above PPG. Kizimov putting himself back on the map.

Not an ideal start to the season, but nobody has been outright disappointing yet besides Ovchinnikov, and it's hard to blame him. Maybe put Rindell and Loponen in that category too, but I lost a lot of hope in both of them by the end of last season.

Knies has been Knies to follow, too.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say he probably always will be.

The Greg Moore effect. How he can make a group of professional hockey players look so bad defensively as a group is quite impressive!
It’s kinda crazy.
What’s that, outscored 12-1 in two of the past three games? Too early to fact check.
There’s more talent there than that.

Yeah... I don't know if the Marlies can keep Moore much longer. His record is awful to average since being hired. I'm sure he probably does some things right and I don't even know if he can be completely blamed overall but... results matter? Maybe give him a development job if he's really good at that part of it?

Make Snowden interim for awhile, see how he does.

Ovi assists on the only goal in the game in a 1-0 win. Points in 2 straight now. Played over 9 mins today.
He's finally getting ice time which was long earned and taking advantage

All started by his forecheck

is he not producing at a Pt/Game pace in the games where he has averaged more than 10 seconds? lol

albeit extremely small sample size. But if I am not mistaken he has played 3 games this year where he actually played, and has a goal and 2 apples...

But yes, dressing him to sit 59:45 definitely seemed like the better call...
