Being 1st overall doesn't matter, we are playing two of the three teams, whether we get the extra home game doesn't mean much since there will be no fans. Team is smart to spend the time experimenting and getting ready for the playoffs. If Willy sits though it is weird considering he was just off for a week.

If that is true, leafs better ask keefe to take a memory test. Keefe played with the 11/7 idea few times, and there was no good result coming out of it. In fact, it was so bad in the last outing that he said he would never do it again. No good coach will keep making the same mistake all the time.

His punishment was that he wasn't going to play. But with Mikheyev nursing an injury and sitting out, I think it's left Keefe no choice but to play him regardless. I'm not sure that's meant they've just shrugged it off, though. It's just the punishment isn't going to be sitting out this game.

So lets sit him out a game for begin late to a meeting, so we punish the team by punishing Wille. Make the guy do wind sprints till he pukes, then make him carry the rookies bags for a week. there are so many punishments you can make him do that don't involve helping the Canucks.

For frig sake don't sit him out.

If opposing fans like the punishment, it probably is the wrong type of punishment.
