This whole scratching for being late to a meeting is so archaic. Give the kid a break.
Definitely not sire. They'll never learn if they ain't scratched, hard.
 Keefe doing his thang the correctamundo way.

We will also prevail and WIN this game so hard tonight. We will revenge the game should have won last time. Now we will continute to dominate and still score, WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ALREADY WON THIS. I GUARANTEE IT. INVEST HARD, AND WIN MUCH. CONGRATULATIONS.

To you. Where's the incentive to not be late if things like this get let go. We're not forcing players to shave every day anymore but at some point you have to draw a line.

AGREED, rotate the goalies and lets see what we have. Freddy will be back very soon with him being back on the ice.

Goaltending should be a strength based on our depth. Lets use it.

FROM THE ATHLETIC:
Other than Sabourin and Robertson, none of those exceptions apply to anyone currently on the Leafs roster, unless you want to count Andersen under the conditioning loan provision. But to use that, he would need to count against the cap, which doesn’t help us with our riddle here.
“Anyone who was on the roster as of 3 p.m. (on deadline day) is stuck there for the year,” explained one executive from a team outside the Leafs’ division. “They are carrying (their new players) the rest of the way. No way around it.”
The simple answer here is that Andersen is not coming back during the season — and that the Leafs know it. He is skating, however, and multiple sources close to the situation believed prior to the deadline that he was going to be able to return before the playoffs.
Even general manager Kyle Dubas indicated a return was possible on deadline day, after making the last of his four additions.
“I’m convinced that Freddie is going to play for the Leafs for sure,” Dubas said. “Whether it’s in the next number of weeks, or whether it’s in the playoffs. The situation with Fred has really not changed.

With Hyman out for the foreseeable future; I am certain that they can make the Freddy cap work in regular season with a few moves here and there i.e. to the taxi squad/etc... paper transactions....

call me crazy but i have more faith in freddy than the other 2 tenders in the playoffs

I don't think you're crazy at all. If I had to pick a goalie for us now, I have no idea how to even go about making a decision. It's basically a lottery at this point and I'd rather have two tickets then three so I hope we see Freddie again before the playoffs start.

 Hard to take seriously this franchises attempts at making everyone feel equal and one part of a team and have accountability when just last night we saw them have zero reaction to one of the most well liked guys on the team got hurt.

I mean f*** the dude was the only one to score a goal at 5 on 5 last night for us. Reprimand him but you don't have to make it public or threaten to scratch him unless it becomes a pattern.

Maybe it is a pattern. We don't know everything that goes on.

Keefe seems really interested in testing lines/clmbos the last while with the playoff spot locked up.

I'm cool with resting any players that need it to get our younger guys a chance, especially considering the uneven play of the 3rd and 4th lines this year.

Hi folks,

Disappointed that Hyman is out for 2 weeks but relieved it’s not longer if that makes sense. Looking forward to watching Sandin for you tonight.

Here’s the Score App stats from my GDT I did for our Board for those interested.

Also, my apologies for missing @Clark4Ever in my thank you list last Game. Very classy of you to stop by & welcome us back.

Cheers

The workload for Freddie this season has not been as high. Hopefully his groin issues are behind him and he gets back to the same goalie that got "Freddie" chants (home or away) for making crazy saves.

Hopefully, if anyone from the opposition even breathes nears Freddie the players on ice get rough with them. In the past opposition would take liberties with Freddy and hardly anybody did anything.

Wagner took a huge run at Rielly in the playoffs and nobody did F-all either. heck Hyman got kneed last night and nobody jumped edler.

This team gotta show some "team spirit".

Anyway, back to the topic; if I am betting between the tenders I am betting on Freddie and if we want to go deep in the playoffs no.1 guy for me on the team is Freddie followed by Matthews.

Not that I condone being tardy but I have been late to work many times (before I stared my own business) and never paid a price. I am not sure how much of a lesson this is, and it only makes the team weaker.

Were you paid 6.9 million to show up on time?

These guys are essentially locked down. Where was he that he couldn't make it on time. At this point, it's not about making the team weaker/stronger, it's about being a professional.

I am fine with it TBH

Nylander just missed a bunch of time because of COVID protocols, they are on the road in a hotel, and should be lockdown because of pandemic so not going anywhere

No excuse to be late to a meeting given those circumstances. No exceptions for stars either.

People (include me) were so quick to show Freddie the door after the brief excellent play of Jack. But I am sort of thinking Freddie is better.

No different than showing up for work late multiple times. I highly doubt this was his first time.

You are right. This can't be a one strike and you are out. This must have happened before.
But according to the Mark Masters' tweet, he is playing tonight.
