He made a good case for himself, but that's arguably the deepest position of this age group.

If I had to guess right now, he is on outside looking in.

That “awful” team was jumbled together for one practice beforehand and lost one of the two games by one goal. I count as many as 7-8 players from Russia’s roster (against the Q team) that should be on its junior team. If the Q team was “awful,” then what does that say about Russia’s team?

It is likely only Lafreniere (didn’t play), McIsaac (didn’t play), Rodrigue, Lavoie and maybe 1 other from the Q make team Canada.

They also lost the only line that was really contributing offence in the first 2 games in Sokolov-Khovanov-Zavgorodniy. . They scored 6 of Russia's 7 goals vs the Q but they only get to play in games against the Q.
