2 more assists for Brown today.

He seems to have fit in very well as a newcomer on a team that has played together all season.

How does that work?

When a guy like Brown who played in the CHL joins the USNDTP team for this tournament, does a player thats been with the team all year get scratched?

You are mathematically guaranteed one of them and Sergachev. I think those 4 form a tier which ends at 12.

This is ridiculous. NHL teams never adhere to the preconceived "tiers" that the media and fans have going into the draft. Every year, there are fallers and risers, and every year fans act shocked and amazed. It is very possible that 2 or 3 of those players are gone by the time the Sens pick.

If the guy you want at 12 isn't there than someone you had higher is.

Of course...if you're picking 12th, the worst case scenario is getting your twelfth highest rated prospect. But it's patently false to say that the Sens are "mathematically guaranteed" to have a choice between those 3 players.
