To have that size and still be able to skate well, puckhandle, and pass is extremely rare. Logan also has the IQ to make the right play. With more intensity he could be scary good.

I think he goes Top 10 this year with Calgary and Winnipeg as the teams I think are most likely to draft him.

Why Calgary? Calgary has used four 1st rounders on centres and looks to be fairly set at that position for the foreseeable future with two potential 1st line centres in Monahan and Bennett, a guy playing at 2nd line calibre who we'll use as our 3rd line centre (Backlund) plus another 1st rounder in Jankowski who has just turned pro and had 6 points in his first 8 AHL games and is 6'4.

I would think Tkachuk/Dubois make more sense for Calgary and should be there for them at 6/7 if either of the teams in the 4/5 range takes a d-man.

I hope he is still around when the sens pick at 12. A big left handed centerman with top 6 upside is the exact type of prospect this team is missing.

i think he has more similarity to joe thornton than say brian boyle

at least his style of play

honestly thought he was one of the best playmakers for team usa u18 this year

you do wish he would play with an edge and bury some people when gets to nhl

only question is that speed top end he will need to work on that a bit

id take him over a lot of others fairly or unfairly just for his size and range and that he is truly a playmaker so as long as he can hold the puck control it etc.. he will have very good or acceptable point levels for a top 10 pick

pretty safe at 10 on to me

Wish he didn't turn it up so much as of late. I was touting this guy up last year saying we could always target Brown next year (after taking Marner last year). Was hoping to walk away with Laine and Brown if we miss out on Matthews. That's definitely not happening.

This kid will go in the top-10, his size and style reminds me a lot of Joe Thornton. Big skilled centers like this don't grow on trees.

This guy seems to have 2nd or 3rd line center written all over him. All that being said I am guessing all teams would kill for a 6'6 second line center. He can be a modern day Joel Otto.

Thought he looked good yesterday, at least on my crappy stream. (Then again most of the US players did.)

How does he compare to, say, Bjugstad?

Not as good of a two-way player that Bjugstad is but owns superior vision and passing skills. Bjugstad shoots more but I like Brown's shot and wish he used it more.

Bjugstad has a better shot, and is a far better skater.

Bjugstad has a great shot. His uncle, a former NHL'er, is a shooting coach. TBH, i haven't seen Brown enough to know that he doesn't have a great shot also...
