"I love Montreal! But I've to focus on what's ahead of me right now. I've a few trophies to win here in the NCAA, like the Beanpot, the Hockey East playoffs, and the NCAA championship. Those are my immediate goals and I want to do everything I can to help my team achieve them."

"I think I'm ready for the professional level. In fact, every day, I train to get closer to the next level. I want to make the jump sooner rather than later."

Fowler has that dog in him

I'm not saying he's the most naturally talented goalie I've seen in the habs organization (that would be Carey) but he's definitely a winner and good in his own right. He'll be the modern Ken Dryden with Roy's personality. A Habs fan wet dream

We owe Billy Ryan a big thank you
I've posted it a few times before but this is the guy podcasts should be getting on for interviews. HuGo will give little interesting tidbits but you can never really tell what they're thinking. Billy Ryan seems to have an interesting hockey mind and can articulate what he's thinking. I want to hear more from him.

This guy looks like a beast. Hopefully he's the real deal going forward.

It's going to be very interesting to see what the Habs plans are for their young goalies since you could have Fowler in Laval in say 3-5 weeks from now. The AHL playoffs don't start till April 23rd or so his season will be over before then. You have Dobes to send down and Primeau while he's winning like crazy in Laval, they seem to be switching to a 1A/1B rotation as Hughes has been playing better lately.

Don’t think we see Primeau back in the NHL, he’s made it clear that he belongs in Laval at this point

Fowler likely joins them for the playoffs

Can’t see Dobes going anywhere

I've watched Cristobal Huet's most of his career and highlights and Fowler has some good traits huet had, almost similar style
