he's also reporting we're close to signing Mason Raymond..

I have been wanting to get Raymond for awhile now, he is a perfect fit for the 3rd line. It is also nice to possibly have 3 scoring lines for a change, getting awfully excited about this season now.

Two points:
(1) Assuming that we will always be a cap ceiling type team is fraught with perhaps too much optimism
(2) We have important players coming up for contract renewal in the next 2 seasons (Henrique who should be resolved shortly, Larsson, Greene, Fayne Schneider)

And we have a lot of money coming off the books in the next two years.

Go look at cap geek, two years from now we have practically no one under contract.

No room for Raymond I think. there's already no room for Tedenby and/or Gionta and/or Josefson. I think he'd be a good fit here, but I'm not sure how he would fit. I wouldn't further insurance against Brunner, Josefson, Tedenby, and Loktionov though.

I smell a trade. If we get both of them it's pretty much guaranteed someone is being traded.

For the first time in a long long while we may have some competition in camp. If he wants a spot on this roster he will have to show he deserves it.

Josefson has the most value because he's a center.

If Raymond is signed, we are planning on moving Tedenby....it's the only thing that really makes sense.

That's intriguing...he's a beast.

I wouldn't move Henrique for anything other then a forward who is better then Henrique
