That's intriguing...he's a beast.
And 22 years old and from upstate NY. It would make sense.

Henrique by himself is an overpay for Bogosian.
I'd love to have Bogosian on our team but we'd have to deal forwards for sure, namely Henrique, and I don't see the purpose of dealing from a position of weakness for a position of strength.
He was right about Ryder just had the wrongs cap hit . He had the years right
hes staked a 100% claim that hes right. if he isnt, we can discount him forever
After one of the TSN guys (Dreger i think) reported that is was down to NJ and Boston. And figuring out a realistic cap hit ain't rocket sciene.
I agree, but my mind is attempting to logically understand why the devils would be in on both Brunner and Raymond. If so, Lou could be attempting some kind of trade. I know he wishes the defense had a nastier edge because that is historically Lou's preference.
Posted this on NJDEVS, but I thought I'd share
I hate doing this because a lot of goal scoring relies on luck, linemates, etc. But I'm going to take a stab at this:
Ryder (~ 30)
Elias/Henrique/Brunner (~20)
Zajac/Clowe/Zubrus (~15)
Bernier/Loktionov/Carter/Josefson (~10)
Adding that up and then giving them another 10 from Olesz and Gionta combined, totals 185 from the forwards. I also believe I am shortchanging some forwards like Elias and Clowe.
Compare that to 2011-2012 when our forwards scored exactly 200 goals. Not exactly a huge difference and I believe we have a more offensive minded defense than we did a couple of years ago. Combine that with a .920 from Schneider and I see no reason why we cant make the playoffs
Im very much worried about next year with Brunner + Raymond if thats true. Look at how many new faces we are adding into our roster if this is the case:
Schneider
Ryder
Clowe
Raymond
Brunner
Oslev
Add the fact we are projecting Josefson to play, Tallinder is gone, Hedberg (in the locker room) gone... that is a TON of turnover. turnover generally leads to slow starts, and I dont know if thats something we could survive and make the playoffs with.

it is alot of new faces, but we had a few big faces bail in the last 13 months
So what? Does Devilswede even have a twitter yet he still comes through with good inside information. Number of twitter followers != ability to have an inside source within an orginization.
Thats kinda my point though. We didnt seem to do well with player turn over last year. Kovlachuk + Marty injury aside do you honestly think we have statistically as bad a year as we do last year if Parise was still here? Morale seemed broken when the second leading scorer left the team.
