It ain't Trotz, well unless you want to put the blame on him for the coach. Preds haven't been good under Brunette outside of that one run last year that more or less saved the season.

Brunette always struck me as amateur hour, even before the golf cart DUI.
Seems like Trotz deserves some heat though for the poorly meshing offseason acquisitions, no?

Brunette is part of the reason they aren't meshing. He's got a team of old guys and he should be playing a more methodical defensive game, instead he has his Dmen always pinching and playing down by the net which means his forwards are always back covering. There is a reason we don't have many goals 5v5, guys like Forsberg spend a good chunk of their shift playing where the Dmen should be. Its also the reason our team defense has just been horrible.

It's all over the place this year. Just look at McDavid (who was mugged countless times last night and the refs looked the other way).
Guys like TJ Miller and Garland (good, but not star players) ranked #6/#7 in penalty minutes drawn

That’s what happens when McDavid tries to sell the call every time he’s touched. You don’t get the benefit of the calls.
I still laugh when people thought he was good. There is a reason he wasn’t highly sought after.
i can't take the idea that all refs decide to call teams and individuals differently seriously. are there occasionally issues btw a specific player/ref that influence a call on a play involving that player? sure. that's human nature.
thinking they treat your team or favorite player differently is just not having the self awareness to consider whether their emotional attachment might create viewer bias rather than a leaguewide conspiracy. "mugged" is how you saw it, that doesn't mean there were obvious penalties deliberately ignored because they've decided not to call any against mcdavid. he's the best player in the league...so yea....a lot of teams are gonna try to be physical and in his face. you can do that legally, though it will certainly draw some calls and yea there will be missed calls. that's life.
that said, you missed the joke, which was defining some arbitrary thing that happened a person allegedly observed as "proof" is comically incorrect use of the word. conversely, you brought some objective facts you believe substantiate your opinion
