NHLPA has an allergy to NHL control so they push back as hard as possible to defend players that are facing suspension. They don’t want the league to take away pay and that seems to be their only concern. So the players association are leading the charge to protect those that injure PLAYERS and not players that get injured (you can’t make this shit up). My own view: with Guddy, DPS “recognized” the hits by Cousins earlier in that game. In the video today, the DPS said Zucker argued it wasn’t retribution which makes it a hell of lot worse
