Proposal: Would you trade Stutzle for Matthews?

A) I admit Matthews is better than stutzle.

B) I point out how regardless of who's in the poll, that poster will always pick the player against the sens.

The only reason Stutzle is valued over Matthews is because of TS being younger and AM's contract situation. Those things are completely relevant and need to be taken into account in the discussion.

If Leaf fans would agree Matthews is a top 8 player in the League No one would have issues. he is elite not
generational not a superstar

Another day...and yes no one is trading TS for AM34 still....your trophy aspirations were brought up multiple times with no valid backing other than a wish to stay wishful....the literal poll is does TS have more value than AM...NO..why...cause matthews has a hart and rockets and will have more soon and while TS is good he won't...there is simply no easier way to explain this to you ...in French maybe ??

Top 8 isn’t a superstar? You could argue that Matthews isn’t a “generational” player. It’s hard to say that currently, as Connor McDavid exists, who is already considered one of the best players to ever play the game.
 
Coming in late to this thread… how the f*** are there 20 pages?

Stutzle has 1 elite season (this current one), Matthews has pretty much been elite since the day he stepped into the league.

Yes, they may be pretty close to having equal seasons this year, and yes, they Matthews is gonna have a way more pricey contract… but at this point Matthews has shown a peak that is miles ahead of any “known” by Stutzle, and it’s pretty clear Matthews is having a bit of a down year for his standards.

The safe bet is assuming Matthews gets back to where he was, which is still significantly better than Stutzle who is performing like 50% better this year than any previous year in his career

If it was just difference of opinion, I would agree with you.

However, if you follow the conversation from the start, he's constantly ignoring what I'm saying and addressing something I'm not saying...

After 4-5 times you're going to start to wonder if they're purposely being slow, or trolling, or perhaps have reading comprehension issues for legit reasons.

Im trying to figure out if he's playing stupid or not, what's the problem?

Meh....if you are basing it solely this season then perhaps. Just means Am34 was the best last year hands down. Regardless he has more value than tim s and probably wins another rocket next season
