Czechs are well coached. Making smart decisions with the puck.
As I type that...they score! Americans have been sleepwalking, that goal should wake them up.

This should finally wake them up. I still see no way CZ has any chance in this game...the US issue so far is not getting players in front but as they tire out the D I expect that'll eventually happen
They call this so differently than they do in the NHL. That would never be a 5 there due to the player basically turning their back

Camoranesi should have been ejected from the game, USA got lucky or their big nation privilige factored in! Text board dangerous boarding which causes an injury.
I don't believe they eject in the women's international league games unless its basically a deliberate attempt to injure
By the standard of enforcement they use for women's international hockey, as much as I don't like to say it because it's against us, yeah, that's a major. 
The Czechs could never win this in an SO right? I am assuming they do not have the skill nor their goalie probably in multiple 1 on 1s is not good enough. I am assuming they'll have to find some way to steal this before that point
My memory is that game was much tighter though and Sweden/US way worse and better respectively. I think the shots were like 35-20 or so

Czechs are 0-19 on the PP in the tournament, thats just incredible bad. I dont understand why either, they got skill. They looked absolute terrible and confused on that 5 minute PP. Why not just put the puck on net and see what happens?
Czechs need to clear their D-zone properly, the fumble around and try to pass themselves out, its fine they want to be a team that plays the puck, but against USA a simple clear is needed to relieve pressure.

The Czech women are playing their hearts out but I'm sorry they just aren't very good. That 5 minute power play was anaemic or pathetic, take your choice. If the USA loses this game they should all have to take the slow boat home.

I think they were too afraid of a breakaway (which came anyway). Plus, one must consider how tired those ladies must be. I believe they were happy they could play with the puck for some minutes and not just fight a heroic stand in their own zone. The difference between the teams is brutal in everything (skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting...), it is just about the Czech ladies fighting unbelievably bravely plus having a stellar goalie.
Mostly junk though til the final 5-8 minutes of that period though when the US did get maybe 3 really good ones....the Czech goalie TBH has not really had to make that many tough saves out of those 31 shots
Women's hockey is about Canada and the US, then a giant gap and then a few other teams, Czechia among them. Of course the US is going to win this, the Czech ladies have been loking more and more exhausted already. It is something like if Canada with their best possible roster led by McDavid was playing, say, France or Italy. Approximately the same difference in hockey skills.
That whistle killed them on the PP...they were in there for 1:08 before that and the officials honestly should not have blown that dead...that allowed the US D to get that 2 minute break and reset.
Assuming we actually win this game, this had better be a lesson learned that we can't be this sloppy and just expect to cruise.
The question then becomes if they win does it make them more dangerous or does it just indicate they are not very good and they lose somehow to Japan or Sweden or get smashed by Canada. I have seen it go both ways when teams escape games like this they should have easily won
