Keefe in the post game presser says Nylander still has more to give

I think he definitely does too, but damn Keefe's delivery is interesting. Sounds like he doesn't want to pump Nylander's tires too much to keep him from becoming complacent. The guy has played a huge part in Keefe escaping a very uncomfortable hot seat.

That's the Nylander I have been waiting for.
Great one timer.
The intermission interviews showed how much he was working , he was out of breath and sweating . Keep up the great work.
Seemed like he was being a bit of a dick to Masters there.

He played well though

Here's the Canadian forward William Nylander, seemingly happy hugging the swedish net minder Henrik Lundqvist at the
2017 world championship-

A confusing moment for the hockey world, and a lot of unanswered questions of what happened that day still remains. Noone seem to have an answer, and I've been told odds are we aren't ever gonna find out.

Yep. He's both Canadian and Swedish citizen, but at national teams he represent Three Crowns! Sweden need him more, Canada got enough players just as good.

My personal (imaginary) goal for him is to produce 1 point for every $100k of his contract. He is off to a good start.

Another team leading effort by Willy last night .. and another strong cameo by Soup .. it is getting to be a familiar thing this year pretty much every night .. I can't wait to see how Leafs handle his contract renewal .. when he walks into GM's office and says look I am better then JT and Mitch and I am leading team pretty much every night .. and he is dead on right .. this is what happens when you way way way overpay a kid like Mitch .. although Mitch played harder last night than normal

right? it stood out to me as a bit unusual. but yea, I agree, he has another gear.

Not to derail, but Nylander required a dispensation by the IIHF to play for Sweden. Since he was born in Canada and grew up in Canada and the US and didn't move to Sweden until he was 14, apart for summer vacations, formally he didn't have enough of a connection to qualify as a Swedish national player.

Another example is Alex Steen who was born and lived most of his life in Winnipeg but still played for the Swedish national team and regards himself as a Swede. NHL brats are a special kind when it comes to nationality.
