First time see photos of Novak in training after he went public with his health issues. The owner of Rockets has previously said that he has had a high success rate with the treatment he has received. Wish him the best and a speedy recovery.
btw Was he coaching that team? Looks like he's lecturing the team on tactics haha
He's actually helping the coaching staff coach this team. I think the coaching experience will be good for him at the moment, if he is not fit for intensive training.

At the very least it'll help him understand the complete game more. If he gets pissed at guys not backchecking hard enough, that can only help his career once he's back to playing wing.

TIME TO SHOW YOU HOW IT'S DONE!

His work ethic is excellent. He was definitely one of the most mature players on the Rockets last season. And now he is actually coaching some of the players who are older than him.
I'm just happy that he looks good and has enough energy to help the coaching team. Hope his treatment continues to go well

Does anyone recall why Minnesota pulled out of the Traverse Prospect Camp?
I believe that they were not a fan of the scheduling, they had some back to backs that raised injury concerns, could have also been Covid related too. Instead we just get Chicago for a few more years and team gets control of when and how they practice and scrimmage.

I strangely can't find anything in print other than a quote in early March 2020 (right before covid) where Russo said they probably weren't going to attend that year (before it was cancelled) and had a different plan for the prospects.

I think I recall Russo saying the Wild pulled out because of the timing of the tournament...which is right before training camp. Wanting these players to come in fresh for training camp, not beat up and tired coming from Traverse City.

#2 for Nashville is a bother. Those darn Preds just keep being good.
They might be pretty good this year, and have the best goalie in the Central. They are an aging team, though, with a mediocre prospect pool.

Actually the Wild are older on average than the Preds were last year. They don't have a top 10 prospect group but top 15 isn't out of the question. They got a steal with Kemell

Minnesota average age skewed heavily by Fluery and Gologoski. Nashville have more players over the age of 30 than the Wild do. The core of Nashville's team is older than the Wild's core players

Nashville:
30+ - 7 players
24-29 - 15 players
18-23 - 2 players

Minnesota:
30+ - 6 players
24-29 - 12 players
18-24 - 3 players

I don't know Nashville's roster well at this point, but they seem to have 1 extra player, Minnesota seems to be missing 2 players.

They are roughly the same. I mean we can break it down year by year...

The missing spots will most likely be filled by Addison (22yo) and Rossi (20yo).
