Who the hell is this guy and where is the impulsive poster we all know that wants to jettison everyone to Mars after a bad shift?

And your boy Schultz is KILLING it.

The only ones I want jettisoned is Mike "I can't handle the puck" Richards gone, and Greene. That's about it.

I just think it's brutal to want to have him gone after one bad season.

That's exactly why he should be dealt - other GMs would highly value a 24 yr old RH defenseman with a Cup Ring. That means the Kings would get superior value for him,
because Voynov has stalled, peaked and actually on a downward slope. It's not like he has been mediocre for a dozen games, it's 1.5 years now.

Then why would other GM's value him so highly? Would you trade anything of value for Voynov?

Voynovs issue, is a timing issue, and also confidence. You see it in the way he plays, it's obvious. He needs an off season to recapture his game and get into the flow of things. Hockey is all ebb and flow.

Kopitar was brutal last year, and he came back strong.

Just for the lulz Richards was bad last year, and... He's still bad lol.

Tone was set by Anaheim in the first five minutes of the game. Huge hit on Doughty, the chirping, movement by their defense. Kings players were just not in it.

It's like in spite of them seeing themselves pull off a comeback from 0-3, they still got complacent with their 2-0 lead.

And now we're resorting to saying the refs handed the Ducks the game? Come on, I would hope that we're better than that.

Seriously, I've been on Voynov for most of the season but he isn't being traded nor should he. While his defensive play has been poor at times, his puck handling and shooting have been consistently abysmal most of the season. The guy has natural talent and that seems to be a matter of confidence or a mental thing more than anything else. He isn't a concern like brown or Richards. Really, to read people calling for him to be moved is ridiculous. I swear people always need someone to blame. Sometimes the kings just lose. It isn't just one players fault. I said this throughout the season but the margin with the kings is just too thin at times. When the scoring dries up, the team looks putrid. They were pretty lucky to win the previous two games. If the earlier part of the season and the last series are any indicator of what's to come, expect the kings to put themselves behind the 8 ball and we'll all get to chew our fingernails as we await the outcome.

I thought the Ducks deserved to win and they did. Back to the drawing board...

I'm not worried about the Ducks imo. They are a good team. We took two at their home. They were gonna give it their best effort not to go down 0-3. We will the next game. Book it. Write it down. Save it. Breath. Repeat.

This is Voynov's first full 82 game season. He's trying to find the right pace to play the game to last him the entire season. He's never played this much before. Once he learns what he could do throughout a long grueling season then I expect you will see him pick his spots better to put an imprint on certain games going forward. Hopefully, he will also know how much in the tank to keep to have an impact during the playoffs because obviously he hasn't found that extra gear he would go to like last year. His rookie year was basically trying to impress and to make the team so he had no choice but to play at his highest level.

Frustrating game all around. Kings didn't bother to show up, and neither did the refs. That "penalty" on Doughty that gave the ducks the GWG was just pathetic and the non high stick call was just the icing on the cake on a bad night. There is plenty of blame to go around, but the message is clear. Everybody needs to step it up next game.

Honestly, after Carter, Richards was probably the best Kings' forward on the ice tonight. His line came close to scoring a couple of goals and they didn't trap themselves in their own end like most of the other lines did (outside of Clifford's stupid gaffe in his own end in the 2nd period).

I don't mind losing a game as long as we don't freakin lose the series. After a monster comeback against the Sharks we better not blow this.

Gotta admit man, you made me laugh with this.

Trevor Lewis, Jake Muzzin, Justin Williams, Bermuda Triangle, Robyn Regehr, and I recall you wanted Jones in net.

original

When Lewis was abysmal. Let's not forget 0 point Lewis. Jake Muzzin I didn't want him gone like that. Just a good throw in. Bermuda Triangle, I am guilty of wanting him gone. Reggie, I do think he's useless so you got me there too. But I've grown to accept him. I wanted Jones to play when Quick was a human sieve can't really be surprised about that. And that has nothing to do with wanting him gone lol.

Multiple head shots for Reclamation Project.

You can not win every single game in the playoffs. Even though the Kings treated us in 2012 it is statistically impossible to do anything close to that ever again. We need to get used to seeing some losses.

I liked the way they made em' sweat it out in the 3rd.

Other than that, onto the next game.

Speaking of head shots was the main boards up in arms when brown checked beleskey lol

Yup, I was expecting it. I had to walk away from the TV for a couple minutes and I got a notification on my phone about Anderson. I immediately thought, "Incoming Brown thread!!!"

Check out these "professionals" airing their crap out on Twitter. Ugh.

I've pretty much decided to play out the remainder of my career without talking to Jonathan Quick. He'll be OK with this, I think.

@rcamcole He wasn't fun?

@RattoCSN How to put this politely in a public forum? Uh ... can't be done.

@rcamcole He's a conversational toad?

@RattoCSN Think Randy Johnson, but without the charm.

Wow, just wow, you're on the verge of gettin on my ignore list and that's hard to do.

We weren't saying the refs gave them the game but there were some **** calls and non-calls that tipped the balance, not that there was much.
