Kopitar: 16 minutes compared to Getzlaf and Perry at 21 minutes.

This just baffles me, why Sutter? Does the last change mean nothing? Was Stoll a better option tonight for some reason?

Well ANH had to win a game in Staples, and the Kings picked this game not to show up.

It is what it is.

Still think this series is Going Seven. All Four Kings wins will come on the road.

Kopitar's line didn't exactly play well, I don't think it really mattered where anyone matched up.

The Whole team was flat.

They didn't play very well but still when your down a goal in the third it's time to lean on your best players, and that is Kopi and Gaborik. I think it was time to shorten the bench and the Kings three worst forwards on the ice tonight (Stoll, Lewis, Clifford) should not have seen any ice in the final 10 minutes of a 2-1 game.

And matching up Clifford-Richards-Lewis against Getzlaf coming out of a TV timeout is just so stupid I truly have no idea what is going through Sutter's head when he does it. It almost felt like the Kings had the last change.

The Kings didn't play well and finally lost, like the first 2 games against the Sharks. Now they have to turn that around quickly. At the very least they have to start playing better. Making crisp passes would be a good start. They were all over the place with those tonight.

Why are people on Sutter for not playing Kopitar more? He wasn't good in this game.

Wish you could know what happened to Voynov this year. Slow on his skates, slow in his thinking. All year long. He's been fighting it all year long, whatever it is.

This may sound unusual to you guys, but I was kinda hoping the Kings would suffer this loss. It's not backbreaking and it's still early in the series, but keeps the pressure even. The Ducks are no longer in a "must win" mentality while the Kings are more or less always in that mode.

They know they didn't play good hockey and if they turn it around for game 4 and take that win going back to Anaheim, I actually feel confident about the series. Give the Ducks a false hope with this victory, but the Kings still need to win 2 and it doesn't matter if it's in LA or Anaheim that they do it. I like 3-1 coming off a loss than 3-1 coming off victory.

If that makes sense.

I doubt match ups would have mattered much. Down a goal early and looked out of sync the entire game as a result. No mojo tonight.

First goal wins most of the time.

I don't even think Getzlaf made that big of difference in this game, it was more of the Kings not showing up to play.

The 4th line was used way too much imo. Richards played well but they didn't have a good shift up until Voynov missed the net.

Stoll and King were total garbage, I wouldn't mind if Nolan went in for King in game 4. At least Nolan will throw some hits. King has been MIA for awhile now.

That is what got Nolan benched to begin with, (Not hitting).

You people have short memories.

Boudreau on Andersen/Beleskey injuries: both are day to day with lower body injuries. doesn't want to say more

Kopitar had a chance to win the faceoff with 30 seconds left in the game. Give the Kings possession, maybe pull out a crazy game time goal. He barely tried to win it. Force Sutter to play you. Kopitar didn't do that tonight.

Regroup for Game 4.

'Against a skilled team, we gave them too many odd zone rushes. That's not our game.' - Stoll

Hell yah you did.

Stoll was garbage tonight, the worst player on the ice for either team. Well him and Slava.

As for Voynov, he has not been the same since that puck hopped over his stick in OT of Game 5 of the Hawks series. Seems like his confidence is completely shot. Especially when he gets the puck at the point, he is so indecisive.

Okay touche, honestly I can't remember why he got benched last time

But maybe that would be motivation to him and he'd come out throwing the body.

I really don't know if he would make a difference, probably not but King hasn't done much since being taken off Kopi's wing.

Not too concerned. Never thought for a second the Kings would sweep the Ducks. Let's see how they regroup next game.

While I would never even consider wishing injury on a player (not even Fairy) Hiller playing over injured Andersen would be a HUGE help to the Kings. Hiller is just so poor with his rebound control that if the Kings can drive the net hard they can pot plenty of goals against him.

Kopitar was lagging this game, that's for sure. I guess he needed a game off.

Entire team pretty much, took the night off. I think Quick (once again) was the only guy ready to play.

Quick is a beast.

Both the kings ans the refs were terrible tonight. Quick played a great game, like always. Hopefully they show up for game 4.

That was excruciating from top to bottom. Felt more like games 1 and 2 of the Sharks series. Odd man breaks, bad defense, bad turnovers, blecch.

Sutter, really, wtf. Someone better ask him about the ice time tonight.

Jeff Schultz is the best d-man on the second pairing.

The reffing was an abortion. Missed high stick leads to broken pressure and goal against. Janky call on Doughty leads to goal against. No calls for us which could have helped momentum (I know, one call for us). Blown offsides.

Bad bounces over sticks. Ill advised passes.

Just not much went right and we still ended up losing 3-2. Hope that was enough to turn us around for game 4.

Game was a snooze fest. These teams just bring out the snores when they play each other. Refs were brutal but let's keep it off the main boards.

Glad Rick got a goal. Maybe LA can carry a little momentum into next game.

Will only begin to worry if we lose the next game.
