If they roar back for game 4 and put the Ducks on their heels, I can see them taking it in Anaheim.

Kings could be down 2-0 so I'm happy with a potential split in LA. Either way, I expect changes in Game 4. Not too worried as the Ducks were playing with tons of desperation. Getzlaf especially.

Boudreau on Andersen/Beleskey injuries: both are day to day with lower body injuries. doesn't want to say more

Boudreau gonna keep us all guessing...

It's also a serious problem when Schultz is carrying Voynov

Not a knock on Schultz at all, he's been awesome. Just says something about Voynov this year.

Schultz is damn good(so far). Makes me think RR is not the problem on the second pairing or Mitchell....

It is Slava's responsibility to move the puck, lets face it, he sucks at it this year.

Just a gigantic dump by Sutter. Some mind boggling coaching decisions tonight, coupled with lackadaisical efforts from pretty much everyone on the roster sans Quick.

It is nice to know that Quick will always give you 100% no matter what.

Even if he is having a bad game.

Lewis was even lazy tonight, that is a first from Lewis.

Schultz played well, I'll add him in as well.

methinks Kopitar must be nursing something. This game and last game, something is a little amiss.
I wish we had more options to put in than Nolan or Fraser. Too bad Vey and Shore just are not quite there.

After tonight's game, I can't help but imagine the Blackhawks salivating at the prospect of meeting the Kings in the next round. But, while I still see us as the underdogs against the Ducks, I believe we have a chance. But we need more secondary scoring.

Glad to see no one one complaining about Jeff Schultz's play, but instead praising him. Has to be hard to step in like that after spending the season in the AHL.

RP, that photo...made me laugh.

If Sutter doesn't have anything to work with in a particular game, what do you want him to do? Should he start changing lines again, even though people hate when he changes up the lines? Should he stubbornly stick to the same lines, even though people hate when he stubbornly sticks with the same lines?

I don't think anyone here really thought a sweep was going to be possible and I was expecting at least a split in one of the home-home games. It didn't happen in Anaheim, so it looks like it's going to happen in LA if the Kings collectively pull their heads out their *****.

The Hawks looked terrible in plenty of their games so far.

Toews/Kane are still banged up, the Hawks have plenty to worry about their own series.

They might not make it past the Wild if they are not careful.

Period three of game three, was a god awful performance by the Hawks (sans Crawford).

The Hawks are beatable this year if you ask me, they are not playing at the pace they put on in 2013.

They also have key players nursing injuries Toews/Kane/Shaw.

That goal by Mike Richards felt rather bittersweet, especially when his 1st goal of this 2014 NHL Playoffs was at a home loss.

I'll be there Saturday for Game 4, in hopes the Kings win one and hopefully seal the deal in Game 5.

Kings have to win 2 out of the next 4 to seal this one. Ducks have to win 3. Anything is possible, depending on which Kings team decides to show up and how Sutter manages his lines.

Regehr has been solid since the Olympic break ended. Don't get why everyone *****es about him.

Voynov has been a major disappointment all year. Martinez and Muzzin have both passed him. That 4.167 cap hit is looking ugly. He won the fastest skater in the AHL and a few years later, does not have the speed. He has skating ability, but seems to be in cruise control a lot and just skating as hard as he has too. He is pretty smart and capable of making good plays and jumping into holes...and ok, when defending 1 on 1, BUT he loses almost every single battle for the puck and not good in front of the net.

I think he should be dealt, as that 4.167 is needed to sign Gaborik and get Gravel under contract...and in return, the Kings will get good value for him.

Slava's whole season has just been a complete dumpster fire....Top to Bottom.

The Cherry on top was team Russia's awful play during the Games.

Slava is not going to get dealt, but he sure needs to pick up his play next year.

I have to say, that LA looked impressive in defeat. No quit in them.

Saw the above quote on the Sharks board. Made me think, hey, they're right. What, 30 seconds left and Rick's goal gets the Kings within one. There is no quit in this team and that's a positive to take from this game.

We saw it in Game 1 but we see it again tonight. Bravo. Even with an off game, that inspires me.

The Kings aren't trading a 24 year old right handed defenseman who has played well before this season, and has played just over the equivalent of 2 full NHL seasons.
