Anyone play God of War: Ragnarok?

I am one of the few people who really didn't like the GOW reboot in 2018. In places the game was beautiful, but in some places (like the central place with all the islands and rowboat) it was pretty ugly too. More than anything, I hated that they forced you to switch weapons mid-way through the game.
I liked the frost axe that you started with, but then they made you pick up the blades of chaos, and after that things got annoying.

But GOW: Ragnarok is on sale on Amazon for $40. I've heard the graphics are markedly better (its got a data disc like HFW and RDR 2), and it got good reviews on IGN and other sites.

Any thoughts?

It's good but it is more of the same. You aren't really forced to use certain weapons throughout the game except in certain spots or against certain enemies.

@usiel ??

Anybody….
Not sure the question? If it is a question of used I generally about never buy used monitors. The alienware OLED I have is still crushing it. I've always kept it at HDR400 True Black and not that HDR1000 burn my eyes out mode.

New model….

Looks like its 1200. Can't remember what I paid.... I do feel like I have the perfect two options in the 34" OLED UW and a 55" 4k OLED TV. Having both physical aspect rations can really be fun to mix and match games and where they will play best on.

Spider Man 2 came out recently. Had Miles Morales in my backlog so started playing that again. Been a very fun experience so far.

Starfield….need some feedback…..how’s it been?
I didn't play, but watched many reviews. It's a huge, but empty world for the most part. The game design is very poor. For example, there are huge buildings/factories, giving you the impression that you have many ways to accomplish a mission, but they are just objects without purpose, just to fill the void. Developers didn't think of variability, missions have mostly only one way to accomplish. Most places aren't worth visiting for rewards. So, a space simulator, atmospheric, but with poor game/fun mechanics.

I would recommend Ever Space 2 instead, not a huge space game with beautiful views and good fights.

I enjoyed Starfield.

It's a lot like Fallout, but without the open world map. I prefer the NASA punk feel of Starfield to the retro future feel of Fallout, but exploration isn't as good.

It's an 8.5 or so for me.

How does Starfield compare to something like Brave New World. Apparently Brave New World was atrocious at launch, but after a few years of continued development it got good. That's when I tried it, and liked it. Not a perfect game by any means, but there was some good stuff there.

Haven’t played myself but am reading mostly meh things. Was just reading this article a few minutes ago.

One other thing. My buddy who is a huge Bethesda fan and counts the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series as his two favorite games is really disappointed with Starfield. He bought an XBox solely for Starfield and he’s bummed. He stopped playing it.

On the other hand, original skyrim is not the same game as modded skyrim. Just check out the difference. I hope Starfield is become this good in couple of years.
