I just want them to be smart with his development. He's a major piece in our rebuild, like Bedard. I didn't like what happened with KK last season.

KK should have been back in Juniors or in the AHL last season. Juniors likely would have been too easy, and the AHL wasn’t an option. So, the NHL it was. However, he did not look good in the NHL, and he wasn’t banished to the AHL. He needed to be in the AHL this season, to regroup on his development and make him more ready for the NHL.
We could have a thread just about Tab. I find him annoying as he ends up in my twitter feed a lot but I don't think he's a dick at all. He's more like a glorified aggregator of Blackhawks stuff than a reporter. I don't know what sources he has or doesn't but he does have locker room access and I'm surprised that he doesn't write anything that I couldn't write from my living room.
To be fair to him, that tweet was in response to a tweet this morning that showed Levshunov was on the Blackhawks roster on their website before the callup was reported. Of course, Blackhawks twitter went a little crazy and then the website took it down. That's what Tab's 'false alarm' tweet was about. Then like an hour later, all the beat writers tweeted that he was called up. So technically, he wasn't wrong about anything.

Well I hopexLev usesxthe body instead of the seemingly futile stick-checks Hawks D have been doing lately which has not stopped copius shots on goal for the opps and ineffective attempts to stop slot shots and crease chances for the opps..We need some physical hits and stops at the blue line instead of weak powder puff stick flailing where the ipos just man-handle our D thru those awful stock check fails...Make them fear co ung into the slot..hit them hard with the body..If Lev plays physical Nd not like a cream-puff ,maybe the opps do not keep possession for so long in our zone and maybe no more 70 attemots and 40+ shog ..and maybe a reduction in high danger slot shots .agaibst our goalies...Let the barrages end!

I am excited for the kid and honestly the rest of this season should be all about developing the kids. Serious question on Bedard does anyone know who watched him during his juniors time did he ever play on the PK or has he strictly been a PP only guy?
I know the situation is completely different but I remember thinking that Hjalmarsson was trash when he first came up. I hated him as he looked overwhelmed, tentative, and indecisive. Then he went back down and came back up to play with Campbell and looked incredible.
Point is, let's not overreact to how Levshunov plays in the small sample size we're given one way or the other.

Honestly this opinion hat junior would’ve been too easy for Korchinski last year is complete nonsense.
If you watched him his last season in Seattle it was obvious his defensive game was an unmitigated disaster, he had tunnel vision on the puck, positioning was horrendous, lacked strength to be effective clearing the front of his net and box out opposing forwards.
As the playoffs moved on and his team made a march to the league championship and Memorial Cup, it wasn’t Korchinski that was leaned on by the coaches in key moments, it was Hansel, Mynio, Prokofiev and Allan. Same is true at the world juniors, when the game was on the lineKorchinski was relegated to a bottom pair guy and Clarke, Zellweger and Del Mastro were the bank end anchors for team Canada.
He should have been back in Seattle last season playing 30 minutes a night in all situations, developing his defensive game, leading team Canada’s D core and dominating for a season. This should have been his first season of professional hockey, as it is he now is in Rockford and quite honestly still struggling at the defensive end of the ice. Until he builds up his strength and develops/adds some nasty to his game he will in my opinion always be a defensive zone liability.
