Do they both just stand in the front of the net saying "Pick a direction and shoot wide" ?
The only limit is your imagination

This season will tell. IF Blais can stay healthy he’s likely going to prove a lot of posters here wrong. Saw it in the Blues run, saw flashes last year. That’s a big if, but you can hardly blame Blais for that Subban cheap shit nonsense last year.Reaves, Carpenter, Hunt and Vesey
NYR brass targeted Blais. They drafted guys that while more skilled, play a similarly styled heavier game
They extend him long before they trade him or let him walk as a UFA
Reaves is not being cut. Listening to Gallant’s presser’s to date he has already affirmed that Ryan will be an everyday player and is an integral part of the team.Reaves, Carpenter, Hunt and Vesey

Didn't Gallant literally say that he doesn't know if Reaves is going to play every game?
Judging by his moves and shot he's better than 4th. they've put worse players on panarins line in the past. It’s also worth noting that he’s a fourth line talent.
I’ll find the interview and reply. I thought it was the opposite.Didn't Gallant literally say that he doesn't know if Reaves is going to play every game?

Understandable.I've seen some of your posts about Blais and assumed it was him you were referring to.
I'm sure you can appreciate assumption. Lol
I'd prefer Reaves not be an everyday player, especially at his age. I don't think he's the best hockey option for most games.Reaves is not being cut. Listening to Gallant’s presser’s to date he has already affirmed that Ryan will be an everyday player and is an integral part of the team.

But I think that most of us realize there is more to a lineup than strictly icing the best players. There's a human element, and Reaves seems like he's taken on the role of Team Dad.
How many has your dad won?How many cups has he won?
I guess Panarin, Zib, Shesty, etc shouldn't be playing either then? How many cups has he won?
I just don't like the idea of players being on the team because they're a coach's guy. But it's a reality. Wouldn't it be better if the players fighting for a spot make the team because they earned it instead of because of who they know.Carpenter isn't getting cut. He's a plug but he's Gallant's guy and he kills penalties. Reaves is also safe for the same reasons, even if he doesnt play everyday.
The decision will come down to Hunt/Jimmy and as long Hobey Vesey doesnt look completely shot, it will be him because of his PK ability and size. Rydahl is an easy first call-up due to his apparent willingness to spend time in the AHL if necessary.

Sadly that is how a lot of people get their jobs in this generationI just don't like the idea of players being on the team because they're a coach's guy. But it's a reality.
