Balvenie double wood 12. What pain?
Why do I keep deluding myself into thinking we're gonna steal Nail Yakupov
It's the hope I can't stand
Balvenie double wood 12. What pain?
well we almost stole stamkos...wouldnt be the 1st time we nearly acquired a recent 1st overall pick.
i blame tampa for our offense
I feel like I need to go out and get myself a bottle of whiskey for this.
Maybe an Elijah Craig 12? That should ease some of the pain!
In my whiskey collection I have some Dalmore Aurora 45 Year Old 1964 Oloroso Sherry Cask; Springbank 1969 34 Year Old, Glenlivet 51 yo, Johnnie Walker Blue Label King George V, Midleton Very Rare and some other very nice gems. None of them will make this team any better ---
I will miss whoever is movedEven Pouliot whose gross miss enabled Brassard to tie the game
Single Malt Scotch aged in Bourbon barrels, hmmm. I wanted to get an authentic American/Kentucky Bourbon this go around. I tend to run with single malts, usually Islay. Bowmore, Ardbeg, Lagavulin. Smoke/peat. I'll have to try the Balvenie at some point.
Back to topic, trades AND lack of trades both equally scare me this year. I have no idea what's going on with this team and I don't know what will fix or improve it. That's my pain =)
I can just imagine the conversations going on with the management:
"So what do we do?"
"Recall J.T. Miller?"
"Brilliant! Break out the cigars. We're done here, boys!"
nah this sounds more like it
Clark askes Sather "So what should this organization do?"
Sather says "get rid of the dead weight like Pyatt Pouliot and Del Zotto"
Clark says "well we really want to get rid of the dead weight but for that to happen the other team will have to want the dead weight"
Sather "its ok if i dont improve this team. im gonna stay GM of the Rangers until i pass away"

Would like to get Stastny in the off-season, trade Del Zotto + Fast for Tlusty, let Girardi and Callahan walk, and sign Phaneuf
Kreider Stepan Nash - 2.2 + 3.075 + 7.8
Hagelin Stastny Tlusty - 2.25 + 6.5 + 2.6
Zuccarello Brassard Kristo - 1.8 + 3.2 + 1.1
Miller Boyle Dorsett - .895 + 2.2 + 1.63
Lindberg - .675
McDonaugh Phaneuf - 4.7 + 7.2
Staal Stralman - 3.975 + 3.3
Moore McIlrath - 1.4 + .7
Falk - 1.2
Goalies - 8.5 + .562
= 67.562
Obviously would be ideal to trade Callahan and Girardi if this was a plan, but I don't trust management to pull that trigger.
