I didn't take that remark that it was a current Olympian. An injury to another player on a team could still have an impact. Lots of good suggestions out there but it all points to Ryan for me anyway.

The next three games will be a true test. Why make a trade before that test?

Give the team a chance to pick up where they left off before the break. If things go haywire, then trade Callahan at the deadline.

Brown is signed through 2022 at a $5.875 cap hit. For the love of God, no.

The "Brown nonsense" is coming from Boomer responding to a tweet and not outright denying Brown as an option, as he has done for other players. This despite he has said it's an East coast team. Not saying I think it's Brown, just continuing the discussion.

Many people have asked him about MSL, and he hasn't responded to any of them, but he has been saying no to practically every other player.

This narrows it down, along with team, player denials. Who else besides MSL is coming back from Olympics, I haven't down the research but maybe a swede or Finn or another Canadian fits the descriptions?

And what if Callahan breaks his leg blocking a shot in one of these 3 games? Then we can't trade him and he walks.

I never said hold onto him.

His value will be higher at the deadline than at the freeze. The freeze still gives GMs a week. After the deadline, the roster they have is the roster they are stuck with.

Sather should hold out until 0259 on March 5th.

Okay, nonsensical speculation - player coming back from Olympics, eastern team, (more likely Canadian), forward, in a 1-for-1 deal with a contingent pick? Callahan and a future #1, (if Callahan doesn't sign in Montreal) for MaxPac? Too much to hope for?

The guy said something about not watching House of Cards so he could read Boomer's Twitter feed. Boomer replied smart man. THEN the guy asked about the Canadian team.
