Might just be a self-serving "you're smart for following me" or it might mean that his guess of a Canadian team is smart. I'm very much hoping it's the latter, because MSL is looking way too plausible given everything else he's said and I just think that would be a terrible move.

St. Louis is in no way plausible.

I sincerely doubt Steve Yzerman spent the last two weeks working the Sochi phones to trade his captain for a rental player, after stating he isn't interested in rental players, knowing he'll have to drive around Tampa in a bullet proof car for the rest of his tenure.

Two separate posters have come here, one before the Boomer tweet broke out, and said they had close connections to MSL saying he asked for a trade, and it was an MSL/Cally swap in the works.

Then Boomer gives out a ton of hints about the deal, that MSL fits almost perfectly with. He's the only player mentioned on his Twitter feed so far who he hasn't outright denied.

The only reason it doesn't makes sense is if the MSL rumors are not true and he isn't asking out of Tampa.
