PLD to Montreal on draft day would sure make the bell center scream loud

that being said i remember hearing he wants to play center but will have Suzuki and Wright and i love him more on the wing he was a beast with team canada

woudlnt give more then Calgary's pick + 2nd + B Prospect if thats not enough take your chances in 2 years

Dvorak will go the other way if they come to terms on a trade cause they would need the center depth with PLD gone. Dvorak, Flames 1st, and Oilers 2nd is the max I would go but I would also want a sign/trade where we get to talk to him on an extension before it's official. 8x8 is the right number and if he asks for $9, I might decline the trade. He's not that much better than Suzuki.

Wright can play on his wing while he matures or someone plays on the 3rd listed line where they stack the talent on the PP.

People talk top 6 and bottom 6 but I prefer a strong top 9 and rolling lines 5/5. Then stack your talent on the PP units.

Keep Anderson and trade Drouin instead.

Andy on one line and PLD on the other. Would be nightmares for opposing teams.

Drouin's days are numbered. He's not a huge problem at this point in time.

lol Let's be real, the Habs only have two tradebait forwards: Dvorak and Anderson. Drouin et al. are unfortunately worthless. Especially considering that Drouin is injured.

Jets won't take Drouin as a frugal management type team. They will need a center if they trade PLD. Dvorak will be part of it and the Flames 1st is the logical piece to offer as the future. They might value a guy like Evans but there is that charging issue with the drug addict Scheifele.

I'm not including Anderson in that trade package.

Guhle + Gally for PLD - who does it?

What would be their center depth after Scheifele? And how much cap space would they have to address centers and RD?

I don't see them doing it even if they value Guhle a lot.

Dvorak would be a value contract and the Flames 1st on top. They might target Kidney as a 3rd piece

oh come on, barely worth 6M? Myers, Jordan staal, Erk Johnson, Jonas Brodin, Markstrom, Guentzel, Ehlers and zuccarelo all make 6 and he's better then all of them not named guentzel. Your also talking about a guy whose 24 and has top line power forward potential.

They are all overpaid.

Guhle has at least an edge in every hockey tool or attribute there is. All he lacks compared to Romanov is professional experience.

Guhle has the potential of becoming a good D3-D2 (for me, Romanov is a 4rthD). Guhle has the potential to become a very good hockey defenceman, with defensive qualities, the perfect partner of a more offensive defenceman .

I do not see how Winnipeg would do it. Perhaps replacing Calgary's first by a prospect like Roy or Farell but still.

If we could do it without getting rid of our 1stOA, without sacrificing any of our young Dmen in the system (Ghule, Barron, Romanov) then I would be all for it. But it wont happen. Needless to say that he would look good beside Suzuki and Caufield.

Eww, drouin is done as an nhler imo and amderson is overrated. We need to draft or aquire much better wingers

It's like having the 1st overall isn't enough...
Management need to get some quebecer half ass star who would just be viewed as a regular top 6 if he had a different last name. Either that or they need to get the 2nd OV pick..

I don't think Hughes is looking to make a splurge this season.

Sure, versus junior players..

This isn’t about how he looks versus WHLers. This is about how he looks in isolation. He’s a better skater, puckhandler, decision maker and is just as physical as Romanov.

I like Romanov, but his ceiling is 2nd pairing and he only showed flashes of it last year. I think Guhle can be trusted on a 2nd pairing in the NHL today.

Exactly. Yet PLD wanted out. Not a good sign. Though I can see how young people would want to move to a bigger city. Seth Jones, Bobrovsky, and Panarin all also moved on. So maybe it is the city or management.

He was worthless long before he was injured.
