I wonder if Nashville starts falling out of the playoff picture, maybe there is a chance to get him for a 2nd?

Eberle for 2025 2nd + Mahura?

Maybe add a 4th for some retention?

Verhaeghe-Barkov-Reinhart
Tkachuk-Bennett-Eberle
Luostarinen-Lundell-Rodrigues
Lomberg-Stenlund-Cousins

Hooochie Mommmma

It depends on if they fall out of the race probably. They lost tonight, they play the. Devils Monday. If I had to guess they will be out of the race in a month .

This schedule is pretty daunting and they're 3-6-1 in their last 10.
Would likely have to go on a 5 game winning streak soon to convince Francis they're playoff worthy

Travis Yost from TSN threw another name besides Henrique out there that we could be interested in at the TDL: Jake Guentzel! I would love to know if he has a source on that, seems not doable capwise, but man this would be insane for us (and insane by PIT to let him leave)

I think I want to go back to the Verhaeghe-Bennett-Tkachuk line in the playoffs because they were so deadly. Literal giant killers. Need that presence back this year if they want to go on a run again IMO.

That means finding a guy for Reinhart and Barkov. Doesn't need to be someone at the level of Guentzel as that price would likely be too high, but I'd love to see Blake Coleman up there with those two. He'd create even more space for them but again, that price is probably going to be high given the season he's having.

Doesn't he have a fair bit of term and caphit may complicate Zito's plan(s) in July?

From a Sharks fan on Barabanov

"Barabanov is a good skater and great play mover, but isn't a single threat on his own. Last year he played really well with Karlsson, both in using his skating to get open for passes and to draw in defenders before making a deft pass. He's good in the corners and a safe player to have holding the puck.

That's why I call him a play mover - he doesn't make the plays or kill them, he just keeps them going for the better"

That sounds like a great fit to be honest
