Both will definitely fetch a 1st rounder. Guentzel is still just 29 and although due for a pay raise, should fetch a ton from the team that acquires him.

Yeah, and Friedman is saying the Pens are looking for the Giroux package, so a young NHL player plus a 1st, at least. Probably Colorado, Edmonton, Rangers, Boston, and maybe Tampa/Leafs are all after Henrique. No way we win that. I appreciate Zito for exhausting all avenues though. He definitely works hard.

Doesn't make a lot of sense? We need a top 9 forward so we trade a top 9 forward for a dman. Not that Hanifin isn't an upgrade but blue line is already a strength.

Guentzel is a top line forward. We have already 4 forwards on point-per-game pace or above. He is a luxury. He is a target for a team with lots of assets and clear hole in top-6.
