Yep. Lukewarm unfortunately. But hey look at that he had more points than Sameskovich this year.Get rid of this guy. He was only noticeable when there was zero pressure

I'd like to propose another possibility as to why he played better late:Get rid of this guy. He was only noticeable when there was zero pressure
shyt head says a deal is coming
You cannot have two many smallish players up front. Like to only play one or two of Domi, Maccelli, Cowan and Robertson and Cowan is a lock. At a reasonable number, I'd like to see what Maccelli can do under a new coach if we can't find a better option before the draft.Get rid of this guy. He was only noticeable when there was zero pressure
When all is said and done, the leafs will be tight against the cap, and there won't be room for a middling player like maccelli. That would be bad asset management. He was one of the few guys that was actually okay on both sides of the puck last year. We aren't tight against the cap. sign him to the QO, and then either trade him for value, or see if he can produce more in a better system like the rest of the guys.
I could see him going to SJ with Rielly though considering how much cap space they have. Not to mention that Maccelli's QO is over 4 million. I think that is too much for what he brings.

Most likely but not if they move out a big cap hit. When all is said and done, the leafs will be tight against the cap, and there won't be room for a middling player like maccelli.

This feels like Dreger will be telling us “The Leafs GM was in on everyone, nothing broke, but he was very close. Just didn’t feel like he was getting the return he wanted and at the end of the day they decided to keep what they have and see what Hiller can do. Boy we were ready”Breaking News: Leaf GM is talking to people!
Unfortunately, it’s kind of where the market is now.Not to mention that Maccelli's QO is over 4 million. I think that is too much for what he brings.
"If they get a deal they like, they'll definitely consider it. At the same time, they won't make a deal just to make a deal." and so forth. But its Dreger........
Not to mention that Maccelli's QO is over 4 million. I think that is too much for what he brings.
I was gifted a Marner jersey while back. Wa curious if it makes sense to switch up the name and numbers, and where to even go for that or price..My wife is really paying attention to who the new players are cause she needs a new jersey. She has a Marner jersey and said to me " I can't wear this shit in public anymore" lmao![]()
Buy her a McKenna jersey. My wife is really paying attention to who the new players are cause she needs a new jersey. She has a Marner jersey and said to me " I can't wear this shit in public anymore" lmao![]()
He's on the short list. She really loves Knies but I told her maybe hold on before getting that one to make sureBuy her a McKenna jersey.

People would be clamoring for those impacts on an unqualified RFA. Too bad it might be us letting him walk. Perfect guy to have on the 3rd line, and up in the top-6 for a switch/injury.It really isn't. You're about to see 30 point forwards get well over 5M.
Maccelli should be retained if there are no trades that make sense. Letting him walk is pretty bad, but it might have to be done if they really don't see think he fits.
