Man it'd be so great if Norris and Stuetzle are confirmed centres for next year (unless we get Wright). Stuetzle is gaining confidence, scoring more, playing better D, and just so much better as a C over a winger.

He’s been struggling the past few games after playing very good for quite a while

He's young and physically still weak. He hasn't played even played 100 games in the league yet.

What I want to see though is a coach telling him to stop using his body until he gets physically strong. He is best when using his speed and stick handling, not when he is trying to protect the puck. Use the speed and skill part of the game until you can manage/incorporate the physical.

It will be interesting to see where these six centres end up after training camp next yr.

Norris, Stutzle, Pinto, Paul, White & Kastelic.

The top 3 are our the top 3 C for sure and then perhaps Kastelic gets the 4th line role but doubt White or Paul get a consistent gig in the middle.

White has three more yrs on his contract, while I doubt they buy him out before next season they could after next season if he doesn't improve. I would like to see them package him, Brannstrom & something for a good young player who can play on this team.

Paul has been a better winger for us than centre. I reckon Norris and Stu will split the C duties while Pinto and White handle the bottom 6. Kastelic might have to be the odd man out. White can always move to the wing, but i think him as our 3C makes sense. Keep Pinto as 4C and ease him in, give him PP time though

I only see 4 centres there. Paul is a winger, and White is gone if we want to keep Brown and Paul, or bring in some external top line help. Even if we keep White, he's gonna be a winger.

White is a great candidate for a buyout over the summer. It will only cost $875,000 for 6 years and they save $3.875 million in salary for the first 2 years and $5,375 million in year 3. And they save $3.875 cap all 3 years.

Actually Stuetzle ability to use his body to protect the puck is quite impressive.

Did you see him use his body against Carlo to win a puck battle on a rim around on Saturday against Boston?

1/10 for the night. He's been less notable recently because he is trying to use more body and less speed/skill game. He is trying to emulate his idol Drai, no doubt, but he does not have the strength yet. Stutzle is more effective, in this junction of his career, moving his feet quickly and utilizing his teammates more with quick touches unless he is in open ice.

I think having a top line that's taking all the top defensive assignments results in Stuetzle looking better. Makes a big difference when you're not playing against top pairs all game

Also makes a big difference on the PP. He's not picking up all those assists which people count and use to say he's playing well. Norris alone likely has 3 goals on the PP that Formenton has missed playing the same spot

He was flying first few games even when Norris went down against EDM and whoever else we faced. He translated his game a bit in last 3-4, not hard to see.

But that could also be linked with fatigue as he cannot maintain same level of speed and skill in tight packed schedule at his age.

Pinto was playing as a top 6 forward on this team before he went down. He deserves the #3C spot over White, and may push into the top 6. Definitely not a 4C.

Pinto is likely a top 3 forward on this team soon enough. Gotta find the ice time for him. (Assuming the recovery goes well)
