That would be stupid given the lack of acceptable replacements.Your first line winger doesn't have a goal in 19 games is not acceptable. Bear has to send a message to the team, maybe bench Schmaltz for a game. Do the same with Crouse.
Pinto and Zub to a lesser extent.OK, Ottawa looking to deal...

Whoever replaces Schmaltz wouldn't have any less goals. 1/4 of a season and your first line winger doesn't have a goal. Crouse 4 pts. on pace for 16pts. Kerfoot 5 pts. Bear has to send a big message to the team. AT has changed lines, tried to mix things up on the PP. Nothing is working. That would be stupid given the lack of acceptable replacements.
I doubt very much any of those are available, and if they are we can't afford the cost.OK, Ottawa looking to deal...

Would love Norris, but like you, scared of his past injuries.Pinto and Zub to a lesser extent.
Pinto would do great here instead of being relegated to 3rd line on the Sens. Still think he would look great being on a line with Keller.
Love to get Brady here, but the Tkachuks sucks when it comes for a new contract and the ask from the Sens would be too much.
Norris, like Zub are questionable with their injuries. Chabot is overpaid and the Sens ain't trading Stutzle.
I'd like the idea of Crouse for Pinto... was gonna offer Hayton, but prefer to keep Barrett.
Just bring up every Roadrunner you can… yeah, that oughta do it!Whoever replaces Schmaltz wouldn't have any less goals. 1/4 of a season and your first line winger doesn't have a goal. Crouse 4 pts. on pace for 16pts. Kerfoot 5 pts.
Chatting with Sens fans the ask for Tkachuk was Iginla/Lamoureux + 1st + Crouse. So, too rich.Whoever replaces Schmaltz wouldn't have any less goals. 1/4 of a season and your first line winger doesn't have a goal. Crouse 4 pts. on pace for 16pts. Kerfoot 5 pts. Nice but you know Pittsburgh will win. Need their next franchise player. With the Yutes stinking it up as of late, why not give the Tankathon wheel an early spin.View attachment 934498

At some point in the steep decline of Schmaltz and Crouse this season, benching one or both of them becomes a matter of principle. I’m with Jakey on this.Just bring up every Roadrunner you can… yeah, that oughta do it!
Do you ever think about what you write?
Crouse I can see, Schmaltz / Kerfoot, no.At some point in the steep decline of Schmaltz and Crouse this season, benching one or both of them becomes a matter of principle. I’m with Jakey on this.
LOB. He has as many goals, well rested, respected in the room.Just bring up every Roadrunner you can… yeah, that oughta do it!

I wouldn't bench Kerfoot either, but I would Crouse or Schmaltz. I doubt Bear does bench any of the three. He will just bench Carcone and bring in LOB, or something like that.Crouse I can see, Schmaltz / Kerfoot, no.
