Like, did Joseph go from a 4th liner to a 1st liner back down to a 3rd liner, or was the situation just very favourable for him to get a ppg last year to finish the year by playing on the top line and getting fed a bunch of pp time?

Gustavsson had a .933 in his first stint with Ottawa. Played very well. He played the majority of his games last year when the entire team had covid and was forced to play in an empty building. He didnt get to see the net in the second half when they played well because Murray magically got better when the team wasnt terrible. Shocker situation.... Gustavsson has always had the pedigree and the talent, he is a way better goalie than Talbot. He is very positionally sound and moves incredibly efficiently. Another massive Dorion blunder. They would have a way better record if they had him this year. Talbot has been a mitigated disaster, injured a ton and the most hit or miss goalie i can remember. You can tell right away he cant find his net half the games he plays.

Having last year's #1 center be healthy should help a lot. So would a competent coach, and a better goalie.

Plus, Pinto should improve. Maybe add in Formenton. The Sens can and will get better.

I admit that I am a bit disappointed in the Ottawa Senators gameplay as of late. 5 consecutive losses.

I saw them waltzing not long ago. Figured they would waltz right into the playoffs.

Instead, it seems as though they paused their waltzing and decided to moonwalk themselves right out of the playoffs.

A bummer.

However, anyone claiming I jinxed them, I am not sure what to say.

It would make no sense that the Ottawa Senators winning vs. losing would have anything to do with what some random HF Boards poster wrote.

I don't believe I am so special to have that kind of power.

But if I am that powerful, then I honestly think that the Ottawa Senators will easily miss the playoffs.
