Either your under valuing his worth or I'm way off in feeling his worth is so much more than a 4th rnd pick and a first from a team who's more than likely will be in the top 5 in the league standings in 2026. I'd want NHL ready prospects along with a high pick, he just brings so much to a team, if the bruins make him available which I dont think they will but Id like to see it, but if they do, there will be a bidding war for his services. imo.Mathew Tkachuk, could be out for the remainder of the season, Marchand for a 4th this year, and a first next year, Tkachuk, comes back for the playoffs, Panthers get another cup and everyone is happy.
Ya....I was thinking around that....5.5 mil next year, perhaps 5 second year as an option. If he wants to leave, then he will. I am speaking only from the Bruins perspective and from what Brad himself has said. I'd be fine in or around $6m x2, or a1 year bonus-laden deal if he wants more than that. But you are right, at the end of the day, he hold the all the cards, because he will get signed somewhere if he wants to keep playing.
The only way I see him moving is if they don’t come to terms by March 7th even if they don’t I could still see him staying. Bruins Captain, fan favorite, jersey will be in the rafters and HOF worthy.![]()
Would Bruins’ Brad Marchand want a trade? ‘I’ve always planned on playing here my entire career’
Marchand still believes in what the Bruins can accomplish: "We haven’t played our best yet. When we do, we can play with any team."www.nytimes.com
Brad ain’t going
Not surprised
Just won 4 Nations
Has a Cup
Kids busy spring school stuff
Ok that’s over
Only thing left is year to year or multi
I am in all probability, the one with the miscalculations, but supposedly next year's draft is much stronger than this year's so might not hurt to wait a year, Florida does not have a first, second, or third this year. Hey maybe there is someone who will pay more, I hope. The Bruins must make him available, bad business if they don't.Either your under valuing his worth or I'm way off in feeling his worth is so much more than a 4th rnd pick and a first from a team who's more than likely will be in the top 5 in the league standings in 2026.
