Norris isn't your 1C. I mean it is obviously Stutzle lol the Leafs had a majority of their defense out for large chunks of the season in the first half. Every team typically deals with injury trouble in one way or another. The good teams manage, the teams that aren't sink. It all levels out.

It's true Stu has definitely made a statement with the year he's having. I'd say it's also kind of difficult to really know how Norris would have been progressed since his career year season last and the impact he would have had. But admittedly yes, there's numerous teams that can make that same "what if" argument about LT injuries.

To win the cup you have to be competitive and play playoff hockey. Sens haven’t done that in 6+ years and counting. Talk to me when you play a meaningful game.

Come on, I know your old enough to remember all the failures. 7 years of trying to competitive, only to miss the playoffs every year. Finally making the playoffs and blowing game 7. Now they have build a team that can make the playoffs but every year still ends after the first round. It's actually an impressive run, I can't think of any other team going at least 17 seasons without making it beyond the first round.
