He had a 1,5-hour interview with Colorado a while ago at Finland. Needed translation for one question. Should be fine.

1st draw is for 1st overall
2nd draw is for 2nd overall
3rd draw is for 3rd overall

Out of the 1001 combinations, 1 combination (11-12-13-14) is designated as a redraw. If during the 2nd draw they get a combination that belongs to the team winning 1st overall, it constitutes as a redraw. For the 3rd draw, the same thing with combinations belonging to the winners of 1st and 2nd overall.

In Kakko's case I think he benefits from being already seen as a top guy.

The challenge for Kravtsov was that he was not a name that was pounded into people's heads.

Only recently though. Kirby Dach was seen as the consensus no 2 not long ago
 
Did anyone watch Kakko’s game today? I saw two decent gifs


His puck protection is unreal. We’re going to be a tough team to knock off the puck. Lias’ puck control is already unreal and Chytil has untapped potential in that area, once he gets stronger he should be able to show it off more.

Kakko played LW today BTW

And hes only going to get stronger, which is a scary proposition.

Dach hasn't really been seen as the number two guy for a good long time now. Certainly since before the start this season.

A year's a long for people to get used to Kakko, especially with all the attention being paid to him "closing the gap" with Hughes.

I just looked up McKenzies rankings, Dach was 2 in September with Kakko at 3, by January Dach was 4, Kakko 2, Podkolzin 3

So slight correction for both of us:

Cozens was 2 in the preliminary rankings, Kakko was 3, Dach was 5.

By mid-season, Kakko was 2, Dach was 4 and Cozens was 5.

I don't know where Dach and Cozens will be in the final. We all know where Kakko will be. =)

FAN has pretty much followed the Kakko to the Rangers narrative since it was announced they jumped to the 2 spot in the lottery. Each host commented on it, and Steve Gelbs, the Mets sideline reporter on SNY, (who apparently is a huge Ranger fan) was tweeted up a storm about it.

Boomer opened up his show the day after the lottery screaming KAKKO SEASON. Lol
