JT is such a waste of coin, if they could ever get him out
don't be a clown/obtuse.Motivated to win cup #2.
But suddenly don't care at all about winning cup #3.
Makes so much sense.
don't be a clown/obtuse.
obv not what I'm saying
If you don't believe TOR had more reason to be more motivated than TBL
Then that's on your end
Cheers

By that Justin Holl. No good scoundrel commiting flagrant violations of the rules. No Bolt scored more goals than Tavares this series, and only 2 bolts scored more points (hedman 1 more point, Kucherov 2 more points) and both of them were minuses.
And Tavares also had a goal stolen from him.
Kucherov is very obviously hurt. The third line, while in a much better place than before the trade deadline is still not where it was in seasons past but the 4th line is markedly better with Perry and Bellemare.A healthy TBL was 9th in xGF% this season. Same spot as last season, with the important difference that they didn't have Kucherov sitting out the entire season.
This isn't the TBL of yesteryear. Is it because they don't care anymore? Or because they lack the depth of earlier seasons, and the number of games their core has accumulated over the past 3 seasons?
Sorry not trying to rub it in but this is so funny! BTW - I was rooting for the Leafs.
Not to mention the refs blowing the play dead well before Tavares even shot the puck.By that Justin Holl. No good scoundrel commiting flagrant violations of the rules.
Another reminder for all my fellow Leaf fans
Ovechkin didn't win until his 13th year
Stamkos didn't win until his 12th year
Yzerman didn't win until his 14th year
Matthews is going into year 7
Ah yes, the Leafs lost in 7 because some Leafs fan said McDavid wants to leave Edmonton.Maybe its a bit of karma payback, but where is this when the Leafs fans and Toronto Media is making the point about Oilers ruining McDavid?
So to all the leafs fans, remember this when you want to throw shade at the Oilers and McDavid. Or say McDavid wants to leave EDM. Could easily be same argument for Matthews leaving.
Karma is a bitch
I think this is fair. I think Campbell was good enough for Toronto. Not great enough to steal the series, but in the deciding game in that moment, that was the difference and that’s how close the series was.Vasi >> Campbell. That big Juicy rebound that Paul buried was the play that was the difference. Toronto is really good and they will eventually go deeper in playoffs. Remind me of the Bolts and how many times they fell short before getting the cup. They should get a goalie or defensemen and give up picks and maybe a forward
clearly you don't get it...Ah yes, the Leafs lost in 7 because some Leafs fan said McDavid wants to leave Edmonton.

Breatheclearly you don't get it...
its not about the results of the game
Its about Matthews and Leafs getting criticized. If you are using the argument that it takes some superstars 10+ years to win a cup to defend Matthews and Leafs, then you can't say McDavid should be pissed and leave the team after not winning in 7 years. (which I actually agree with, not every player can win the Cup, hockey is such a team sport, can't blame the stars)
Your fans and media been throwing shade at Edm since McDavid has been drafted, when your golden boy is facing the same situation. Kinda being a hypocrite don't you think?
When will Matthews leave the team? Leafs are ruining all their young star players.
Does that sound familiar?
When is Matthews leaving town? When will the Leafs stop ruining their young players? lolBreathe
Yet again you advocate for Game Management.imagine calling a pick play that never gets called in a game 7. crazy stuff.
especially when muzzin was interfered with on TB's 2nd goal and no call.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen so many excuses for a team that was 4th in the league in points. 4th in wins. 3rd in regulation wins. 2nd in goals. 6th in goal differential. Tied for 4th best home record. Was the higher seed and had home ice.
Even worse is the schizophrenic back pedaling from some who were so cocky going into the series and once the Leafs looked like they were in trouble, fell back on the excuse of having to face the two time defending champs.
Accept the L. You lost to the champs who have played a ton of hockey over the few years. For the most part, the Leafs fought hard and they were overall the better team for most of the series. Yet they still lost.
But let’s not forget that the Leafs were one of the best teams themselves this year. Obviously you were not worthy of being Stanley Cup champions and you merely got knocked out sooner than you might have if you drew someone else.
Yet again you advocate for Game Management.
But they did win.The Bolts only won thanks to game management.
so many leaf fans were claiming Tampa was going to be a pushover because they finished behind the leafs in the regular season,
But they did win.
Thanks bud.sure.
they sure did. congrats.
