Agreed. Tbh I think Jeff's insistence on the small votes really screwed us again of a good episode. Yes the 5 remaining having to turn on each other sure it kinda worked out for the producers, even if they had to help it along by artificially inducing it with the Sol advantage.
But as they said at tribal, they all got to one beach and there was one obnoxious individual who had to be first, that's kinda part for the course. But this vote was to finally start to decide where things lie. You've got 3 reds that are kinda a mixed bag with sneaky lone wolf Genivieve, aimless Teeny at this point with allies all gone and finally freed from his evil shadow Sol. There was uneasy alliances on Yellow with wild card Andy and left out Rachel not always vibing with tight Sierra and Sam. And the blues presented well as a group, but Gabe and Tiyana where at each other throats from day 1, with passive Sue, Caroline and ah shucks nice guy immunity winner. This would have been a very interesting vote.
I was foreseeing two sides shaping up, IMO, Sam-Sierra leading one and Gabe (with Sue as backing) on the other. How many could each side could they have brought in? Could Genivieve, Andy, Rachel cobbled together a 3rd front as an "outcast" alliance? Tiyana would have been a wildcard potentially breaking from her fellow blues as well.
I guess we still have that coming down the pipe here next episode kinda, but who is confident Jeff isn't going to announce next Ep, OK so tonight we are going to break into 3 "voting blocks but the catch is voting block 1 votes out someone off 2, 2 votes out someone off 3 and 3 votes out someone off 1! Twist, now we have 3 votes with only 4 votes each! Or some stupid shit like that lol. This break up into small groups thing is my least favourite part on new era.
